So, we have Disney Plus. We have so far enjoyed Lady and the Tramp, Inside Out and Elephants - a beautiful documentary style adventure. What do you recommend we watch next? So much choice!

Just watching the 1992 version of Aladdin although I think that they have the newer version too.

Have watched Frozen 3 times over the last 2 days and woke up with one of the songs in my head!

I have never really been a Disney fan but DS and I are likely to have an encyclopediac knowledge by the end of this.

Summerdays2014 · 05/04/2020 08:39

I have a 4 year old and we are working our way through the toy story series at the moment! In fact we are currently watching number 3 as I type. Loving it!

Glenthebattleostrich · 05/04/2020 08:41

I'm a bit of a geek so enjoying the documentaries on the history of Disney.

Unihorn · 05/04/2020 08:44

The Imagineering Story!

Hugsgalore · 05/04/2020 08:46

I LOVE all the Pixar Shorts. Especially Bao and Lou

Acidrain · 05/04/2020 08:51

On an evening we are watching Cosmos documentary on space and time, it's amazing!

DontGoIntoTheLongGrass · 05/04/2020 08:53

Pixar shorts. Kitbull made me absolutely sob Confused It was sad but I was unable to stop.

Unihorn · 05/04/2020 08:54

My toddler loves Bao, I've had to watch it about 12 times.

Luckystar1 · 05/04/2020 08:57

My son (5) loves Bao too, he thinks it’s hilarious. I can’t watch it without crying my eyes out. I cried when I saw it in the cinema too.

Sandsnake · 05/04/2020 08:57

So far Lego Star Wars on repeat, thanks to DS. He enjoyed the old version of Robin Hood (because it’s amazing!).

InDispairThisWeek · 05/04/2020 09:02

Got it for my 15 year old dd as she loves Marvel, she’s watching Agents of Shield at the moment and loving it, Easter weekend has been renamed Marvel weekend and we’re going to see how many of the films we can rewatch (seen most of them already)

MrsWombat · 05/04/2020 09:02

I was hoping my little one would love Phineus and Ferb like my eldest did at the same age but he doesn't. 104 days of summer vacation sounds about right for now. Grin They've both been watching the Star Wars Lego stuff.

gemdrop84 · 05/04/2020 09:10

We're watching the Marvel films in chronological order. Just started watching the Mandolorian and Agents of Shield. I've introduced ds (7) to Herbie the Lovebug, he's enjoying that. Me and dd have enjoyed Freaky Friday. There's a lot of old films I used to watch with my grandma, Blackbeard's Ghost is one of my favourites Grin

AngelaScandal · 05/04/2020 09:20

Sister Act

NannyPear · 05/04/2020 09:22

I just finished watching the new Beauty and the Beast this morning. Amazing movie!

strawberry2017 · 05/04/2020 09:23

Is it true that the Gummy Bears are on their? I loved it as a child! C

Afonavon · 05/04/2020 09:26

We’ve watched the Jeff Goldblum documentaries, and a few Marvel films. We had an Avengers marathon yesterday.

Loved Coco, and cried again.

letsjog · 05/04/2020 09:32

We've seen with DC's Coco, Toy story, Aristocats, Alladin (92), Mulan 1 and 2, Hercules and all the animated and film versions of 101/102 Dalmatians.

DC's also quite enjoyed some of the Phineas and Ferb.

Me and DP have been getting though the marvel films in chronological order. We're "in a rush" to get through it so we can cancel after the trial as DP says - he doesnt know yet we wont be cancelling Grin and my suppressed since pre DC's inner marvel geek is at large and reveling in it!

cliffdiver · 05/04/2020 09:35

Couple of National Geographic documentaries

'Real life' Aladdin, Lady and The Tramp, Cinderella and Dumbo (the latter to a lesser extent)

3 Men and a Baby / Little Lady

Also enjoyed all the Disney Classics and Cool Runnings when we had Disney Life.

MooominMamma · 05/04/2020 09:35

Yes strawberry, The Gummy Bears are on there! It's the first thing I had my children watch. Ah, the memories.

Theyhaveallbeenused2 · 05/04/2020 09:39

Ds age 5 is enjoying Ralph breaks the internet he also enjoyed the animated Robin hood..I personally wasn't a huge fan of the new lady and the tramp as too much was changed and the original is my ultimate favourite movie .

EllaAlright · 05/04/2020 09:40

My Samsung tv has Disney life app but not Disney+. Is it the same thing? I don’t have skyQ just skyhd+. Just wondering how to get it on my telly.

ElizabethMainwaring · 05/04/2020 09:40

Mention of Robin Hood has reminded me of an amazing thread a couple of years back.
Poster admitted fancying the cartoon fox Robin, and it turned out it that it was an almost universal phenomenon!

icecreamscoops · 05/04/2020 09:45

Gummy bears and freaky Friday!! That's what we will have to watch today!! We just downloaded Disney last night and watched Ironman and the kids are now watching monsters university. We're doing the marvel films in chronological order too looking forward to watching all the live action films as not seen any of them yet

CeibaTree · 05/04/2020 09:45

We've been enjoying introducing the DC to films from our childhood like Lady and the Tramp, The Black Cauldron etc. DC have also loved Finding Nemo/Dory, Ratatouille and Wall-E so far. DH and I have started watching The Mandolorian which seems good so far, and it's nice to have the nature documentaries available. Disney couldn't have picked a better time to launch in the UK if they tried!
