So, we have Disney Plus. We have so far enjoyed Lady and the Tramp, Inside Out and Elephants - a beautiful documentary style adventure. What do you recommend we watch next? So much choice!

The cheesy stuff like fairytale weddings and encore for me.

DH is working through all the marvel stuff.

DS has discovered Phineas and Ferb.

Chanel05 · 05/04/2020 17:08

The Imagineering Story
Wild Yellowstone

TrollTheRespawnJeremy · 05/04/2020 17:09

Encore is fab.

The imagineering story is fascinating. Covers a lot of the dark bits of management strategy over the years too.

Inmyownlittlecorner · 05/04/2020 17:10

Newsies
The imagineering story
High school musical series
The Mandalorian
Disney Weddings
Gummi bears
We’re really loving it!

EllaAlright · 05/04/2020 17:33

Think I might watch the mandalorian tonight.

DC3dilemma · 05/04/2020 17:37

Pixar shorts...Bap and Float. Float breaks my heart, but it is excellent.

DC3dilemma · 05/04/2020 17:37

Haha, Bao! Not Bap...autocorrect.

BeebabaLooloo · 05/04/2020 17:53

Following. How do you get Disney + if you are not with SkyTV ?

mum2jakie · 05/04/2020 18:13

@BeebabaLooloo It's a streaming service, with a monthly fee.

We are streaming it via a PS4. Otherwise I think you need a smart TV or firestick.

mogloveseggs · 05/04/2020 18:14

Phineas and ferb
Suite life of Zack and Cody

mum2jakie · 05/04/2020 18:21

Does the content change daily? Pretty sure the original Dumbo was on there yesterday but can only find the new (inferior) version on there today?

Unihorn · 05/04/2020 18:25

@mum2jakie I found that the children's profile setting blocks out random things, like Moana for one. Could you be on a different profile?

sociallydistained · 05/04/2020 18:31

I've been binging all the Marvel films (all re-watched) and absolutely loving it I'm 14 films deep embarrassingly. I also finished my Star Wars re-watch as I had started that on blu ray before. The Mandelorian!

Also watching a couple of Simpsons before bed lol.

So much content on there I want to watch it all!

InTheCludgie · 05/04/2020 18:58

Have watched the new versions of Aladdin and Lady and the Tramp, plus the first episode of Wizards of Waverly Place Blush

BrokenBrit · 06/04/2020 08:39

Thanks for all the ideas.
We watched original Aladdin and short Bao last night.
Will choose another tonight!

@tabby thank you, there is one the kids used to live and will be worth getting for that alone

YouNeedToCalmDown · 07/04/2020 07:37

@ElizabethMainwaring thanks for the reminder. I loved that thread www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/3392905-if-you-had-to-have-sex-with-every-character-from-a-disney-film-which-film-would-you-erm-do

ElizabethMainwaring · 07/04/2020 08:47

@YouNeedToCalmDown
Oh well done for finding it! Thank you! That will cheer up a lot of people!

ElizabethMainwaring · 07/04/2020 08:53

Just read it. That wasn't the thread! There was another one! It had links to an article about why the fox Robin was so attractive, and also to an artist who specialises in painting male cartoon characters naked. It was much longer than that one.

mum2jakie · 11/04/2020 17:40

Kids seem to have lost interest in watching films already but I've been enjoying classic Jodie Foster Disney films - Candleshoe and Freaky Friday this Easter weekend.

Bringringbring12 · 11/04/2020 17:55

@Proudpeacock

Frozen 3? Presumably not in UK?

Bookaholic73 · 11/04/2020 18:41

We are watching all the Marvel films in chronological order

Bringringbring12 · 11/04/2020 19:20

Oh sorry you have watched the original 3x!

I thought a frozen 3 had been made (didn’t know whether to laugh or cry!)

Kpo58 · 12/04/2020 23:07

I blubbed at Float. It really hit home to feelings that I thought that I had buried.
