When Boris says we aren't grounded anymore, what will you do first? We have had lots of time to think and make plans and I'd like to know what you can't wait to do once the country has stopped going completely insane.

I'm going shopping, in the town centre like the good old days Grin I may even have my nails done. I'm going to book the eye test I should have had last November, and I'm going to finally do the tip run! What will you be doing?

I’ll take DS (10) back to BMXing as he misses it so much!

MrsJoshNavidi · 29/03/2020 14:17

Going back into the office I expect 😦

PennyGold · 29/03/2020 14:28

I'm going to take my mum out to lunch and have a cocktail.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 29/03/2020 14:34

Aside from work ? (I'm a KeyWorker but I've been on Annual Leave)

Laundrette - I need to wash bedding and duvets

Bluewater - my DD will be having withdrawel symptoms (acyually , she is already)

Trying to guide the aforementioned DD through her Non-Exam Exams and onto University .

Dentist - they cancelled me

Hairdressers - not urgent my hair is ok, but

Hair dye

A lot of these depend on when the Lockdown is lifted . I could have ankle length grey hair by then Grin

blackberrysoup · 29/03/2020 14:36

TheSparkling · 29/03/2020 14:51

Glittertwins · 29/03/2020 14:59

Straight back to the pool and gym and hopefully be able to go on holiday.
Won't be able to see my parents for some time.

ilovecakeandwine · 29/03/2020 15:01

Well it depends if it's just relaxed first ie can go to work but still the social distancing so no restaurants/ bars hairdressers open .
Mind you I hope the hairdressers is open before I go back to work my hair is a mess .
It'll be lovely to get the schools open but I know this will be a way off .
I'm looking forward to the simple things like going to the supermarket without queuing.
Going for a nice glass of wine in a beer garden .
I miss work
I miss the cf threads on mumsnet Grin
Also wearing clothes other than loungewear/ pyjamas and gym wear .

newnortherner1 · 29/03/2020 15:06

It depends on how the restrictions are eased, but for me visiting the church opposite my house may be first.

Zisforstripyoss · 29/03/2020 17:10

Holiday please! And a big wedding anniversary weekend away with my DH that we had to cancel.

RunsForGummyBears · 29/03/2020 17:11

Dentist

mynameiscalypso · 29/03/2020 17:12

Holiday here too. Can't bloody wait.

Alarae · 29/03/2020 17:14

Taking my DD to visit family. It was only a couple of days after we took her home that we went into lockdown!

FizzyPink · 29/03/2020 17:14

I know it’s frowned on here but so many beauty appointments. Followed by booking a trip to New York over Christmas if we haven’t been able to go on our summer holiday in July.
And then I’ll have a Wagamama for lunch and Nando’s for dinner Grin

Lyricallie · 29/03/2020 17:16

Well I had to cancel my wedding and honeymoon so I want to go out for some fancy food to make up for it. I also had blood tests cancelled and I miss my gym classes got no motivation at home.

Pasqual · 29/03/2020 17:22

We will have a newborn who hasn't met any other family by the time this is all over, first stop will be down to see my 90 year old grandmother to let her meet the baby!

TeddyIsaHe · 29/03/2020 17:22

Going to go get my dp and go see my parents!

And then go drinking in ALL the pubs.

Fuckinellitsme · 29/03/2020 17:23

A mass meetup with all the lovely friends I've 'met' via Facebook but not yet met in real life. They've been a godsend over the past few weeks (and for years before that too!). We've all got to know each other in FB groups connected to our favourite band so I'm hoping we can meet up in the city that's associated with said band (which also happens to be me and DH's favourite UK city, so it'll be a much needed weekend break for us, too). A few of us have already toyed with the idea, hopefully loads will get involved. They're the finest bunch of people.

Fuckinellitsme · 29/03/2020 17:24

But before all of that, drink all the pubs in my own city dry. Except for Wetherspoons. Martin can get to fuck.

timeforawine · 29/03/2020 17:24

Getting my roots done Grin
Trip to my family and my in laws when i know it's take safe to do
Holiday!!!

Autumnchill · 29/03/2020 17:24

Probably looking for a job as I doubt our company will survive

winterinmadeira · 29/03/2020 17:30

Out for lunch with my sister and best friend.
Then book a holiday!

lljkk · 29/03/2020 17:31

Go to work, Swimming, haircut maybe. Long walks & catch the train where I like when I like. Renew DC's passports, maybe.

HundredMilesAnHour · 29/03/2020 17:33

Straight to the gym swiftly followed by the hairdresser, then out on a date with the lovely man I was dating (and should have been on a date with today, grrr) before this all happened.
