What are you doing after lockdown?

When Boris says we aren't grounded anymore, what will you do first? We have had lots of time to think and make plans and I'd like to know what you can't wait to do once the country has stopped going completely insane.

I'm going shopping, in the town centre like the good old days Grin I may even have my nails done. I'm going to book the eye test I should have had last November, and I'm going to finally do the tip run! What will you be doing?

Take dd out somewhere she wants to go, there is a very long list. Invite her friends over to play.

Get ds back to his nursery so he and his key person can have the biggest cuddle. Finally get him seen by SALT and OT. Let him go crazy in the park and go to pick up his snacks in the local shop.

Hug my parents, they are just across the road and we usually see and hug each other most days. Video chat is just not the same. Hug the very lovely lady from our church who is like an extra grandmother to me.

We're writing down everything we want do that we can't ready for when we can. We'll hopefully be able to visit lots of local attractions if they manage to make it through. Dh and I are looking forward to going out without the dc.

Look for a job. For me and DH. Can't do anything in the meantime as im the vulnerable group. We stand to lose everything 😔

bluebellation · 29/03/2020 21:29

Getting the first plane to the UK to see DD. We were supposed to he going next week and I really miss her.

Camsie30 · 29/03/2020 21:30

Botox. All the Botox.

Summertime2 · 29/03/2020 22:00

Go on holiday somewhere hot

Marmite27 · 29/03/2020 22:00

I think everyone wanting holidays are going to have to wait a long long time Sad

UsernameTaken76 · 29/03/2020 22:23

Beauty salon first for hair cut & colour, nails, eyebrows & eyelashes. Meet my best mate for a cocktail or 5. Then Sunday non-Wetherspoons pub lunch with my Dad and sisters

Pascha · 29/03/2020 22:27

Book an online shopping slot for 9-10am every Monday and get back to my routine. I loathe supermarket shopping even in normal times.

sobersides · 29/03/2020 22:30

Haircut, divorce party, trip to the seaside

MiniatureRed · 29/03/2020 22:49

I'll be straight off to see my Dad and have a cuddle. We had a 2m apart garden chat when he dropped me off some shopping this week, but that isn't the same.

I also will be getting a haircut, my nails done, grabbing a frap from Starbucks and eating at a lot of restaurants.

CormoranStrike · 29/03/2020 22:51

Have lunch with my mum and sisters

MurrayTheMonk · 29/03/2020 22:53

Take two weeks leave (keyworker). It's already been a horrible couple of weeks and I dont see it getting better. Voluntarily self isolate during that time and do literally nothing Smile

slug · 29/03/2020 22:54

Replacing my boiler. It's on it's last legs, I'm not convinced it will survive to the end of lockdown. And I'm sure there will be plenty of plumbers happy to have the work

Thehogfatherstolemycurry · 29/03/2020 22:56

Go to work, I miss my work friends!
Go see my mates and give them a hug.
Go to the countryside and breath and look at the beauty beyond my four walls.

I don't care about hair appointments, I've no urge to go shopping and I don't care if I never see a city again.

hazeydays14 · 29/03/2020 22:56

Hug my mum and go to a nice pub and have an ice cold cider with my sister
I can’t stop thinking about it.. hope we have some normality back soon

RiftGibbon · 29/03/2020 22:58

See if my hair is long enough to donate to charity.
Go to the local shops.
Visit family in person.
Take a holiday - we have one booked for late this year so hoping we'll still be able to go.

BlackeyedSusan · 29/03/2020 23:26

Supermarket or church? I am really greedy so supermarket might just win...

We3kingsoforientareandabump · 29/03/2020 23:53

I'm going to go to my DGM house with the DC and we are all going to have a massive group hug

Slimsin · 30/03/2020 00:21

A lot of these are going on my post apocalypse bucket list Smile

As an introvert I am looking forward to being home alone while DS is back in school and DH is at work, maybe even a walk to a cafe to have a coffee in peace.

Taking DD to see the family who are missing out on her babyhood Sad
Hug my parents, sister and best friend
Go out for the anniversary day with DH that we had planned
A fancy brunch
Spa day
Weekend away with best friends to an Airbnb with a hot tub and plenty of champagne
Taking DD to the beach for the first time
First holiday with DD and DH
Being able to go out with the pram for a walk whenever we want
Weekend lunches out

Sweatheart · 30/03/2020 00:39

Seeing my boyfriend.

ViveLEntenteCordiale · 30/03/2020 01:48

Osteopath, physiotherapist, pain clinic, gynaecologist, eye doctor. Then the hairdresser!

Jasmin82 · 30/03/2020 06:00

A trip to the hairdressers. I'd say a holiday, but I'm already saving up for one, so it possibly won't be the first thing.
