How do you pronounce the word.....

Tousled? As in tousled hair? I pronounce it "tussled" but I just heard someone on the radio say "towzled". How do you say it?

Towzled - tussled means wrestled or scuffled, I think.

I'd say it like the person you heard on the radio. Although maybe with a slightly more s than z sound.

Tussled is a different word meaning to fight so I wouldn't use that for hair Grin

Me too @Bluesheep8, on top of that I've never noticed others saying it different. Mind you I dont think it's a frequent-use word for me, not ever close.
