Following a conversation with DH... What is the best dinosaur. He says velociraptor. Personally I prefer Pteredons, but I don't think they are strictly dinosaurs. I'm rather impressed by giraffatitans too...

Triceratops definitely. We had a dinosaur party for my ds's when they were little. The best game ever is trying to put spiky, plastic dinosaurs in a balloon for the children to hatch. Please note this game is for adults not children and best played after a couple of glasses of wine.

Allosaurus.
Terrified of Velociraptors, far too clever!

Triceratops, always. They remind me of rhinos.

Badassmama · 26/03/2020 20:47

Gotta be a Triceratops!

If we are including other prehistoric creatures... Coelacanth. It's a fish that disappeared from the fossil record millions of years ago... To turn up unexpectedly of the coast of Africa just prior to WW2. Then another type was discovered in Indonesia. It's nothing like modern fish.

For some reason I thought the coelacanth was a smaller type of fish, about salmon sized. But they're so impressive!

I like the Ichthyosaurs and Plesiosaurs. The wet ones.

ImRealHonest · 27/03/2020 15:09

I’ve always been fond of the stegosaurus

ThisBear · 27/03/2020 15:19

Plesiosaurs for the same reason, they're definitely Nessies. And on land, triceratops. But now I'm feeling bad for missing out other friendly-looking ones so I'll add diplodocus and stegosaurus as runners-up.

Triceratops.
