Any lockdown birthdays here?

I just thought we could do with a little bit of a lighthearted tread.

It's my birthday on Sunday, so we've decided to have a tea party, have a few drinks and play some board games. I'll just be my parents and I but I'm actually really looking forward to it.

I'll probably have a nice dinner out once everything has calmed down.

How are you planning on celebrating your lockdown birthdays?

My birthday is April 20, can I join? 😂 I think we’ll still be under strict measures then. It’ll just be me husband and dog, absolute bliss tbh! Means I don’t need to think of excuses for avoiding my family 😂

My LO has her first birthday on Thursday and my eldest will be 18 2 weeks after, just going to celebrate with the 8 of us! Thankfully we had already brought the presents! Me and my 3rd youngest gave just had our birthdays with smaller gatherings than usual 🥴

Mine's tomorrow, my husband's was last Friday.
I managed to save some eggs and baked him a chocolate cake, half is in the freezer for tomorrow. It's filled with raspberries and whipped cream, so it's pretty good.
He bought me flowers today and we will FaceTime with our grown up offspring.
I'm just glad we're all OK, so far, and I'm lucky enough to have a nice garden here to get outside safely and keep me busy.

My birthday is next Thursday and my daughter's birthday is next Friday. Nothing planned yet, hopefully the weather is still nice so we can play in the garden

Me! I'll be 50th on the 11th April - Easter Saturday, I had a fabulous party planned and a big family lunch but instead it'll be me and DH on our own

My birthday is the 1st April, and my wedding anniversary is the 9th April. Will be celebrating how I would have been anyway, meal at home cooked by dh. Only difference is we know he definitely won't be at work.

Mine is today. I live alone so it’s been a bit of an odd one. Some nice birthday wishes from a couple of people and my family, but I think a lot of people have forgotten. It’s ok, there’s a lot going on!

It my dd 11th today.. the school arranged for her freinds to send birthday wishes via the class app.

We have a 21st and a 16th in the next two weeks.

Mine is Sunday too OP. I'll be 30. Apparently dp had planned me a surprise party. I'm pretty gutted.

DS2 is 11 today; not going to lie, it's pretty much the worst birthday he has ever had.

My DD will have a lockdown birthday. She'll be 4 this year and it will be the first time that she understands about birthdays. All she wants for her birthday is a balloon and a cake. One I can get, not so sure about the other.

A friend had her birthday yesterday - she put a drink in each room and did a lock down pub crawl 😁

Me. We're having a bottle of champagne and a curry at the weekend (if our Indian is still delivering 😬), and a night of my favourite horror films.

Im generally pretty antisocial so not much different to usual.

Mine today. Pizza hut for tea. Nothing special.

Mine is on Saturday. We were supposed to go abroad,then away in the UK,now we can't even go for dinner or see anyone and I can't drink because pregnant. It truly sucks.

60th for both of us this year. Mine's in 3 weeks, DW's at midsummer. Not worried about mine, but if we miss both I'll not be thrilled.

My dsis was 40 on Saturday we missed going to a large house with family and friends for the weekend.
It’s my ds 18th next Saturday , also cancelled his party at local club. No gifts purchased for him either.

Three birthdays here : dc2 9th April (be 3), me 15th April & dc 1 19th April (be 6).
DC2 is so excited about her party and just doesn’t understand that it can’t happen 😭.

Hopefully we’ll still be able to get birthday cakes for the dc & nice take away delivered.

I'm going to be 30 on Saturday. Nothing major planned anyway, we probably would have done some shopping and then gone out for dinner. But now we are going to get a curry instead!

Mines on Thursday, all my plans have been cancelled because of the virus so I'm just going to wait until it's over and celebrate late 😂
