I'm about to go and refill the bird feeder so my feathered friends can feast up! And my tea is at exactly the right temperature.

The sunshine. Sowing my tomato, aubergine and peppers seeds 🌱

DS14 has taken himself off for a shower and to cut his nails completely unprompted. This in the history of DS has never happened!

I'm sat on my sofa and the sun is streaming through on me , no wonder the cat sits here it's lovely .
I'm going to sit a little longer and enjoy it .

Three pheasants in the garden, pottering about without a care in the world.

Glorious sunshine, my little dog is sat on the grass with his head up and eyes closed really relishing the warmth and light. Lifts the spirits!

The huge (900ml) mug of coffee I've just finished. I can now smugly say that I only have 1 a day. I don't mention how big it is! 😉

I’ve just laughed my head off. Sitting beside DS7 doing something school work and I spy an earwax ball in his outer ear (sorry TMI) gran a tissue and have a quick dig into catch it.

DS, keeps staring forward at the computer and states deadpan

“well this doesn’t happen at school”

I unearthered a pair of earrings that I thought were gone forever . DS bought them (for my birthday last June ) and he said he was going to gift wrap them..................they were down the side of his chest of drawers .

So that was nice !

The carpet was fitted in my daughter's room this morning which means she can now be exiled out of our room I love her dearly but I need my bedroom back so I can read in peace with the light on!

Also the weather is beautiful so DS has been able to play in the garden.

We took a walk early this morning, just baby and me, around the block and it felt like a normal day. Everywhere deserted, just lovely sunshine, flowers and birds singing.

What a lovely set of replies! I have the sun streaming though onto my right arm so that is toasty warm as I type this!

The sunshine is making me happy, it's streaming through the window while I work 😊

My washing's drying on the line, rather than draped around the house.

My dog's sleeping on the rug next to me while I work.

It’s been my birthday recently and Ive been spoilt with lots of nice thoughtful gifts. I’ve just popped my new reed diffuser in the bathroom and it smells lovely

Hanging the washing out and hearing the birds singing. Ddog is snoozing next to me, will take him for a walk in a bit.

I drove to work in half the time this morning, and had to get my sunglasses out of my handbag for the first time this year. The sun is shining, and work is far less manic than usual so actually I'm feeling the love today.

A tin of co op tomato and bean soup I found in the cupboard- delicious and to think I'd put off eating it all this time! the little things

Windows and back door are open. The air is fresh and lovely inside. The slight chill is well worth it

I'm doing the gardening and my dog stole my glove and is now running about, tossing it into the air like it is the most fun thing ever.

Hanging my washing outside. Gives me a deep primal joy.

I'm sitting in my garden, alone, in the peace, in the sunshine. Bees are buzzing all around me. I can no longer hear the noise of the M25 and there is only an occasional plane going over.

For now, for 10 minutes or so, I'm ok.

Just back from our daily dog walk. Heard a woodpecker for the 4th time in 5 days

The weather is lovely today.

The sky is blue and I can see the Red Arrows doing practice manoeuvres.
