Sorry for posting such trivia during a time of such worry and hardship which I too share with you and please don't spray me down the road with the mumsnet equivalent of a water canon but..............

Has anyone had any bad experiences with Bloom and Wild letterbox flowers and if so do you mind telling me about them? It's for my mum who isn't on the internet.

I'd be really grateful.

I've ordered from them before and had a good experience. They do offers so you can get a great price.

TitusP · 22/03/2020 18:02

No I’ve only had good experiences and used them about 15-20 times. I did have an issue with the Royal Mail delivering to the wrong address but B&W were very good and offered to replace them straight away however the neighbour who had them passed them along so no need. The flowers do look a bit drab when they first arrive but they perk up and open within in a few days and seem to last.

LonginesPrime · 22/03/2020 18:04

I've heard very good things about them but have never used them myself.

HotChoc10 · 22/03/2020 18:06

I used them for my mum's mother's day flowers and they showed up on time without any problems

johnstonfont · 22/03/2020 18:06

If you have an issue they are very quick to put it right.

I've sent from them a lot and received a few times.

OxanaVorontsova · 22/03/2020 18:07

Good experiences, have used for a few years now and on the couple of occasions I've had a broken stem they have refunded without any issues

Nanasueathome · 22/03/2020 18:07

I have used then regularly and have never had an issue with them at all

PenguinsOnParade · 22/03/2020 18:08

I was looking at them for Mother's Day but ended up ordering from Bunches instead because I got a better deal from them, DM is really happy with the flowers and they arrived on time. I actually didn't realise how many letterbox flower companies there were until this past week.

Sexnotgender · 22/03/2020 18:09

I’ve used them several times. Past two times have been for Mother’s Day and they have been exceptionally poor.
Their only saving grace was their customer service.

GreyGardens88 · 22/03/2020 18:11

Used them twice, firstly for the letterbox Christmas tree and secondly to send flowers to my mum this mothers day. Mum seemed happy with them and always arrived on time

Soozikinzii · 22/03/2020 18:11

I've been happy with them for birthdays but admittedly not used them for Mother's Day when they must get clobbered they have good offers on and I also like serenata who are excellent if there's any issues at all they just send another !

Polkadotties · 22/03/2020 18:13

Never had a bad experience with them

paperdreams16 · 22/03/2020 18:13

I’ve used them a few times and have always been pleased! Their customer service is great.

Feenie · 22/03/2020 18:13

I used them a lot until I actually saw the bouquet I'd sent for Mother's Day - it was dreadful.

blondehalo · 22/03/2020 18:14

I've had two lovely bunches from them.

Although my cat ate the leaves off of one of the flowers and was quite ill for a few days. That was my jerk cats fault though.

NemophilistRebel · 22/03/2020 18:14

I’ve had a few and mostly good and lovely flowers

I had one that wasn’t good at all but they did put it right very quickly

Wouldyoubemyamericanboy · 22/03/2020 18:15

I bought some for my sister’s birthday a few months ago and ordered the six month subscription.
She’s had 4 so far and they’ve all been brilliant and have lasted a long time!
She had some carnations in one of the bouquets which lasted over a month!
My sister was chuffed with the gift as it was something a bit different.
Can definitely recommend!

ShellsAndSunrises · 22/03/2020 18:16

Bloom & Wild are amazing. I use them for everyone, I’ve never had a bad experience.

Bezalelle · 22/03/2020 18:16

I've always been pleased with them. Some bouquets take a day or so to "come to life" after you've unboxed them and put them in water.

ritzbiscuits · 22/03/2020 18:16

Used them for the first time this Mothers Day (delivered on Thursday). Mum said she thought they looked a 'bit dead' when she opened them, but the packaging said they were sleeping. After a day they perked up and looked beautiful. I've seen a picture today and they do look lovely.

She was really happy with them, just not something she was used to before. She also ignored all the instructions of how to arrange them and did her own thing!!!

Look out for a discount code too, you should get £10 off your first order.

Newyearnewarse · 22/03/2020 18:16

I have used them for years and they were always great. However the last couple of times have been disappointing sadly.

They did however apologise and send a better bunch but the moment had passed by then really.

MrsGrindah · 22/03/2020 18:17

They were fantastic when I used them

madcatladyforever · 22/03/2020 18:19

Thank you all very much, yes my sister sent my mum one for her birthday and another for mothers day and they were terrible, a window box with the ends missing dead dlowers that didn't perk up and the customer services have been really awful, rude, refusal to replace, despite proof. Dsis and my mum are at a loss as to what to do and so much money wasted.

I sent two letterbox trees last year which both went down very well. I saw one and it was lovely.

BikeRunSki · 22/03/2020 18:21

I have used them about 20 times over the last 3 or 4 years, with only positive experiences.
