Anyone else in the Ocado queue?

I am at queue position 6659 of 8372 to edit my order. My queue position isn’t changing but the number of people in the queue isn’t.

My order is for Tues as well. Took about 30 mins to get in a couple of hours ago, the website said over 2 hours but it was no where near that long. It did say all changes had to be done today though!

Not the first time today
This time I’ve been at 1455, 30 minute wait, since 2206 and now this!
Am I going to get in before midnight? Will I be able to edit?

Oh I didn’t know you can now edit for orders later this week! Or do you have to wait for an email telling you how?

It took me about 5 hours but approx 3 of those it was stuck on the same number. Just got in and edited though. Could add and delete. So glad I waited it out.

Thanks for the heads up! Mine is for Tuesday, I would've waited for tomorrow otherwise as checking earlier today it said it was only editing orders for Sunday (tomorrow).

I had a slot for this Thursday - I have been able to edit - delete and add items this evening - hope this helps.

The time estimates shown are totally wrong in my experience. If it says 2 hours, it's actually closer to 30 mins. If you go away and come back, you miss your "turn" and it will bump you to the back of the queue.

No email afaik - it’s open now for orders due Tue 24 - Sun 29

The queue is very erratic though & IME this evening it is definitely worth just keeping that window open until you’re through

I actually came out of the queue (after almost 5 hours)
Went back in again at 23:00 hrs and I’ve already completed my edit, so really fast
I think there were just so many people trying to get in

No problems editing. Hard to find offers but I didn’t waste much time - just wanted to get it done!

For my delivery (6pm Tue) the actual site, once in, said I can amend until the usual 2310 on Monday, despite a banner implying (at 2315 ) that the cutoff was 2310 tonight (it lied )

I stupidly didn’t have a slot for this week. I was waiting until my fridge/freezer was delivered as I was concerned it might not actually turn up.

God alone knows when I’ll be able to get a slot. All week I’ve been thinking they were fixing this and today I’d be able to book a slot (not expecting it to be for a couple of weeks) 🙄🤷🏻‍♀️

Isn't over-ordering them giving stuff back to the driver just going to make things worse for everybody else? Doesn't that food just go to waste? They can't take it back to the distribution centre then send it out to someone else, particularly with fresh stuff, surely?

Ive just got on this morning. You can add stuff now thank goodness but there isn’t a lot of choice and there are no offers to speak of.

For example dishwasher tablets. I usually get whichever ones are 12-15p a tablet but the cheapest available for the day I have my slot were 28p a tablet and they were lemon and the cheapest non-lemon ones were 40-something each.

There isn’t any ‘buy two for £2’ offers at all.

There were about ten kinds of pasta available.

You can only buy four of anything which still seems like too much to me. I’m usually buy five yogurts for work but I can’t now but I suppose you could buy four of one thing and one of another, I didn’t try.

There was toilet roll.

I just got on to edit my Wednesday order after waiting for 10 minutes - never been so grateful for my 3 yr old waking me up at 6!

My in-laws have asked me to do a shop for them and I managed to get everything they needed even if I had to go for pricier options than I normally would have (e.g. organic flour).

Can anyone confirm whether the reserved slots are still working, or is it a free for all?

Mine for two weeks time isn't.
It just says there were no slots and to rebook. Obviously there's no slots to rebook with.

So no reserved does not appear to be reserved at all. Pointless.

I don’t have a reserved slot but there were no slots at all available to book another delivery.

I think my reserved slot is working. Hopefully in two weeks things will have calmed down on the panic buying front.

My reserved for tomorrow worked. It's the one in a fortnight that hasn't.

My reserved slot for 29th works, I'm hoping when the next Saturdays open up it will the book that reserved slot.

My order is coming this morning. So grateful. Higher number of cancelled items than I've ever seen but it's a lifeline for a non driving single parent.
I didn't even try to order many 'Corona' items- handgel or soap or cleaning stuff or anything antibacterial.

Not coming: fresh items such as meatballs, chicken, pizza, Also passata, digestive biscuits
