is this baby number 6 or 7?

longwayoff · 01/03/2020 19:13

I believe, I maybe wrong, that the answer to your question is protected by an injunction.

Rootd · 01/03/2020 22:20

I hadn't realised that Carrie was born to parents who were married to other people....it all seems like a bit of a sad train wreck for her

mathanxiety · 02/03/2020 05:45

The brazenness of the action against Mary Beard is horrifying.

BatleyTownswomensGuild · 02/03/2020 06:47

Why any self-respecting woman would let that blubbery, entitled cockwomble anywhere near their nether regions is beyond me....

Cheermeupplease22 · 02/03/2020 07:03

I tell you what though. I’m absolutely bloody shattered after working a 50 hour week and can’t be bothered. He’s obviously got energy to burn!!

How much work does he actually do though.

longwayoff · 02/03/2020 07:24

Complete agreement, mathanxiety, disgraceful. Closer and closer to full Mussolini mode. Will we ever come to our senses? Beyond depressing.

Peregrina · 02/03/2020 07:50

Mussolini did not come to a good end.

They’ve both got good jobs and have money. Boris may not be a looker but who is at 55 and everyone has a bit of baggage.

You wouldn't be saying that if he was working class and living in a council flat would you?

If he had a good job and was earning the money he’s on it’s highly unlikely he’d be in council flat.
The point being, if the only thing you accomplish at 55 is 7 or 8 children and 3 marriages, it’s a bit rubbish. Not quite the same as being someone elected to run the country at a time of major political change whilst being fairly loaded.
Yes he’s a crap father to the child of the affair he never sees. But as someone who also has a child who doesn’t see its father, frankly as long as he pays ( which he does and presumably Boris does too) it doesn’t bother either of us.

I know it’s none of my business but I was intrigued that during the latest reports of his impending divorce, it was written that his first marriage was annulled (rather than a divorce). As there are very few grounds for an annulment I can’t help but wonder which it was...
.....
Neither were in their right mind at the time of the wedding.

Or they were drunk.

Or he had a STI.

Lynda07 · 03/03/2020 03:22

Boris has years to go yet. Think of Mick Jagger, his most recent child is only a tot and Mick is as old as the hills.

longwayoff · 03/03/2020 07:22

Hmm. Boris and Ms Symonds are both housed at State expense in 'public housing'. Don't forget Chequers as well. And don't forget who's picking up the bills for 'single mum Carrie', included in the Bozza package. Yup, Us. It's almost a Soaraway Sun Sensation story "single mothers sprogging with feckless fathers to get a council house ". We've all seen similar over the Tory years and it's probably as true in this case as it was in the others.

Peregrina · 03/03/2020 08:00

Was Johnson's first wife a Catholic? So they would have an annulment for church purposes, but still go through a divorce to meet the legal requirements?

JJPC · 03/03/2020 08:41

The Catholic Church doesn’t annul marriages without very good reason.

Peregrina · 03/03/2020 08:47

I thought that one reason for the Catholic church annulling a marriage was because it hadn't been consummated. I would imagine that this was extremely unlikely in Johnson's case.

longwayoff · 03/03/2020 08:57

Well she was married to BJ. Probably reason enough all on its own.

Decorhate · 03/03/2020 17:31

I think another reason is if either or both of them were coerced into the marriage. They were literally just out of uni so perhaps there was a reason they were “encouraged” to get married which then didn’t come to fruition. As it were.

Bouledeneige · 03/03/2020 18:14

Yuck. Silly woman. What on earth does she see in him? She must know that when a man marries his mistress he creates a vacancy. But maybe she's just ambitious and it's a career move? She will at least once married have recourse to his wealth when she runs out of patience with public humiliation. Yes she will have aligned herself with his nasty entitled populist right wing toryism. But I guess that that's fine if you just move in old money Etonian circles.

And by the way, he does not have a razor sharp intellect. I have met him several times. He has an abundent supply of self love but is famous for his lack of commanding a brief and not being good with detail. With disastrous cost to Nazanin Zaghari Ratcliffe. His incorrect comment in parliament that she was teaching journalism put her in jail. He should be ashamed of himself. In more ways than one.

wallflowersunited · 03/03/2020 18:54

He comes across as having the people skills of the ravenous bugblatter beast of traal when combined with The Luggage and a vogon.

I wonder what other asset he has that a woman could be interested in?

longwayoff · 03/03/2020 19:17

That is the best and most accurate assessment of BJ that I've seen. Congratulations wallflowersunited.
