What size would you guess I am?

Today I've seen a photo of me and I feel I look much bigger than I thought I was. Dh thinks I look fine. I'm wondering if my brain is just completely unable to identify what is normal anymore.

What dress size (UK) would you think I am and where on the bmi - healthy - overweight or obese?

You don't sound like you're overweight. You're a similar height to me, I'm a 10. (Used to be an 8). I weigh about 9 stone at a gues. I don't own scales so weigh myself rarely. Photos are just photos. If a photo is unflattering, just delete it and take another! That's what I do . I know people who irl are overweight but they always take photos from the same angle (usually from above) and it makes them look a lot slimmer than they really are.

Ahhh op why did you post asking for what people thought if you were going to be offended? You knew it wasn't a great photo so it probably wasn't a good idea was it.

Also I don’t think people guessing over size 12 means they “live in a world of hate” 🙄

Literally when have I ripped shreds off anyone? I feel like I might be reading a different thread to some people. Two people were a bit unkind in their response but everyone else was lovely, regardless of the size they said. I've said I look bigger than I am in the photo. That's the whole point. We're all looking at the same photo and seeing it differently. I find it interesting.

I'd guess a size 12, perhaps a 14 on top as you have an enviable bosom. I wish mine was similar. I think you look fine.

Interesting is it? yes I do find it interesting that someone would look at a photo of me and think size 18 and another person think 10. I guess it shows most of us don't really have a clue on size. Unless you're the same kind of build, I think it's really hard to know. Except the people in posh shops who assist you - they seem to know. Must be a skill

So much of this depends on posture, clothes, photo angle etc but I'm going to say you look fine and are probably a size 11

(FWIW, I have some clothes from Peacocks and Primark that are a size 4, and are too big. I suppose I could go around saying I was a size 2 if I wanted to. I'm not.)

I would have said size 14 and am amazed you can get your chest into a size 10 top as you look like you have fab boobs. I agree with PP your tummy is lovely and flat

It's just a shit photo - don't worry about it.

I mean you can see in that picture that you have big arms and big hips. You are obviously carrying significant excess weight in those areas. You would benefit from incorporating some resistance training into your life. But that's not what you want to hear, is it? You just want to be told that you are gorgeous hunxxxxx
