What size would you guess I am?

Today I've seen a photo of me and I feel I look much bigger than I thought I was. Dh thinks I look fine. I'm wondering if my brain is just completely unable to identify what is normal anymore.

What dress size (UK) would you think I am and where on the bmi - healthy - overweight or obese?

I’m a bit confused by this. Is the photo not a true reflection of your size?

I’m 5’6, 163lbs and I’m aiming to lose about another 10lbs to be back to my ideal weight. I wear a 10-12 and look about the same size as you do in the picture, but I have a smaller bust. My BMI says I’m about 5/6lbs overweight.

I would've said size 16 and can see from the update that was wrong! Is it stretched?

Thank you for the comments, even those who guessed more than I am but did it kindly. I will always be curvey and even at size 8 I had wide looking hips next to my waist. My bust is a 32DD.

A line dresses often need to be a 10 or they're too big across my shoulders but my hips are really a 12. 14 jeans fall down (not just a bit roomy) so definitely not a 14. I think we all carry weight differently so for me, size 14 was when I was around 11st. It was comfy and roomy but wearable rather than falling down, now that's what a 12 is. I can get 10s on and do them up but can't feel relaxed or comfy.

14 (12 in some shops) or visa verse. You look in proportion and reasonably fit though.

I can only assume that’s a dreadfully unflattering photo as I would have said a good size 16. I can’t believe that your a size 10 going by that.

14 is a size 10 in America though.

I don't know how tall you are but 12-14 if you are over 5.5. less if under.
You don't look overweight to me as you have a slim middle. I'd say the max weight you have to lose is probably around half a stone.
You look the same sort of of shape as my sister.

About a 12 to 14 would be my guess .However its difficult to see as you are wearing dark clothes, and we can only see the front /side of you .Dont forget photos usually add on a few pounds as well !

@m0therofdragons pictures are very deceiving and it’s impossible to tell!! I would have said a size 10 tbh because I know what it’s like...I’m a size 8 and sometimes I look at photos of myself and I think I look so different and at least two dress sizes up. But you know what??! It really doesn’t matter, I have 2 happy healthy children, I am healthy and happy too, like you though I have days where I’m not happy about my body but then I realise that it’s never going to be what it was before babies (the very much wanted babies that I was so very lucky to carry). You should try some yoga, meditation and positive thinking to help change your mindset!!

A size 12. I think the angle of the photo maybe makes you look a bit chunkier in the thigh than you really are, but either way you are not large.
