What size would you guess I am?

Today I've seen a photo of me and I feel I look much bigger than I thought I was. Dh thinks I look fine. I'm wondering if my brain is just completely unable to identify what is normal anymore.

What dress size (UK) would you think I am and where on the bmi - healthy - overweight or obese?

12 top 14 bottom?

You look all in proportion to me, but yeah picture is dark and it's not full body and angle isn't great!

georgialondon · 29/02/2020 16:18

Size 16?

Turquoisesea · 29/02/2020 16:21

I’m 5ft 5 too and very similar body shape/size to you and I’m a 12.

TooMuch87 · 29/02/2020 16:21

I haven’t read the replies yet, so as not to influence my answer.

I’d say size 18 and BMI of 30-ish.

Flufferbum · 29/02/2020 16:22

I would say 10-12 OP. You look absolutely fine. You’ve got a waist line and what looks like a firm bum 😄! You absolutely DO NOT look overweight at all! I think the picture itself is odd, as in the angle. So I think it’s that.

Straycatstrut · 29/02/2020 16:22

Oh & absolutely no where close to obese. That'd be like comparing yourself to Chrissy Metz from This is Us who is clearly obese and has been very open about it. I think she's lost a lot of the weight now though which is fantastic.

Wannabangbang · 29/02/2020 16:22

I would guess size 12-14 you look slim and healthy

MarshmallowsOnToast · 29/02/2020 16:23

12!

Pentium85 · 29/02/2020 16:23

@Straycatstrut

You’d be surprised. I’m a size 10 at 5ft 6in and my body fat % (much better than BMI) means I am classified as overweight and bordering on obese

ElbasAbsentPenis · 29/02/2020 16:23

Goodness, I’d have said 10. You have a flat stomach, and are clearly an hourglass shape which sometimes isn’t as flattering in photos as in real life for some reason!

ThisIsBlossoms · 29/02/2020 16:24

You look exactly like my SIL, who is a 10-12. She was an 8 before children, but looks lovely and curvy now.

Quicklittlenamechange · 29/02/2020 16:25

How much do you weigh OP?

InglouriousBasterd · 29/02/2020 16:26

You look like a lovely shape, it was likely a weird angle!!

MimiLaRue · 29/02/2020 16:26

14-16

heath48 · 29/02/2020 16:29

@TooMuch87 a size 18!!!! Really!!!

Size 10 with a healthy sized bust would be my guess.

Teacup34 · 29/02/2020 16:30

12 you have a lovely figure not overweight at all.

PixieDustt · 29/02/2020 16:30

I wouldn't say you're overweight at all!
You have a curvy figure and too me looks like a flatfish stomach??

Singinghollybob · 29/02/2020 16:31

I'd say 16

Thisismytimetoshine · 29/02/2020 16:31

You don’t look like a size 10, op. But if you actually are then that’s pretty much irrelevant. I never get the point of these threads, tbh. What do you want to hear?

Allmyfavouritepeople · 29/02/2020 16:31

You have a lovely hourglass figure with a flat stomach.
I thought you were a size 14 (like me) probably due to your outift. Wearing two tight fitting tops will make you look bigger. Horizontal stripes aren't flattering on anyone and your jeans appear to be lighter in the middle than on the outside which makes them look bigger than they are.
Trying to give honest helpful answers.

m0therofdragons · 29/02/2020 16:31

@quicklittlenamechange I'm 10st 1 today but fluctuate between that and 9st 10 depending on time if the month

cocomelon23 · 29/02/2020 16:32

I would say 14-16

Wtf???? Why are these threads always the same?

inmyshedsmoking2000 · 29/02/2020 16:33

14/16 dress size and tipping into the 'overweight' BMI section.
