The people mentioning Dubai, have you ever been?

I admit I've only been to the tourist areas but it was beautiful, very clean, lots of security and felt very very safe, and felt luxurious even when only staying at a cheaper hotel/ going to the cheaper restaurants. There was nothing I didnt like about it as a holiday spot.
Living there is a different story but I fully understand why people love to holiday there
