Bob Dylan. My dad is obsessed, saw him lots in the early days. He, and I will be gutted when he dies.

Paul Wellor, same reason but for my partner

MeatLoaf. Love him, his music. I’ll be so sad when he dies..

Absolutely the Queen....like the royals or not, she has dedicated her whole life to our country and is so dignified and elegant

Flymetothetoon · 21/02/2020 17:59

Definitely David Attenborough! My lovely dad instilled in me my love of wildlife and since his premature death I've looked on David like a Dad figure so I'm dreading it when he passes 😢

Buggersticks · 21/02/2020 18:05

Billy Connolly without a doubt.
Mick Jagger, Roger Daltrey, David Gilmour and all those musicians that changed the music world forever.

Also David Attenborough (saviour of the world, we're all doomed when he's gone)

To be honest I worry more about shock deaths of people you don't expect, like all those in 2016 😪

My heart broke when Paul Newman died, and again when David Bowie died.

smilingontheinside · 21/02/2020 18:12

Unsureconfused ING Bryan Ferry has been my hearthrob for 45 years I havnt even considered him possibly dying he's been part of my life for so long. His songs take me back to when I was young and in love and life was simple and fun. Queen songs also trigger certain events in my life and I was truely sad when Freddie Mercury died. Thinking about this has made me realise I am old when these names have been part of all or most of my life 😭

Runnerduck34 · 21/02/2020 18:16

Not dreading any of them dying as I don't actually know any famous people!
However when the Queen dies I think it will feel momentous, quite literally the end of an era.

B1teS1ze · 21/02/2020 18:18

The Boss. To never see him in concert again.😰

Localocal · 21/02/2020 18:20

David Attenborough.

BigTrombone · 21/02/2020 18:28

Brian Cant, Robert Hardy, John Noakes ..... oh. Just realised something....

concernedforthefuture · 21/02/2020 18:32

John Williams (film composer). So many great films would have been nothing without his wonderful music.

David Attenborough

The Queen

Julie Andrews

Oldbutkicking · 21/02/2020 18:36

None of them. I dread any of my loved ones dying, but famous people have their own family and friend to mourn them.

Doihavetogotoworkdotcom1 · 21/02/2020 18:39

The Queen

Shamazing · 21/02/2020 18:41

David Attenborough, The Queen, Trevor McDonald, David Suchet, Barbra Streisand.

sugarapplelane · 21/02/2020 18:42

Julie Andrews - for some reason I've always dreaded Julie going!
Julie Walters
Maggie Smith
Judi Dench
Ian McKellan
Michael Palin
David Attenborough
Benny and Bjorn of Abba
Paul Simon

Ilovemyhairbeingstroked · 21/02/2020 18:43

The queen for me too .

SecretsInSpitalfield · 21/02/2020 18:46

@ concernedforthefuture

Ah John Williams .. Home Alone movies at Christmas and his music.. haunting and beautiful and dreamlike

Nanalisa60 · 21/02/2020 18:58

the Queen for me too plus the Duke of Edinburgh

Jdcnky12 · 21/02/2020 18:59

The first person that came to mind was the Queen. Also losing David Attenborough would be very sad.

Lou12124 · 21/02/2020 19:08

The queen
Tom Jones
Elton John
Nile Rogers

Lou12124 · 21/02/2020 19:09

Obviously david attenborough goes without saying.

happiness1212121 · 21/02/2020 19:14

Ant or Dec because I would feel awful for the surviving one.

Also the Queen as worried how the Royal Family will survive and also because she has been Queen throughout my life.

csigeek · 21/02/2020 19:21

David Attenborough

Stars2theside · 21/02/2020 19:24

David Attenborough 100%

UnionistMum · 21/02/2020 19:32

Quite pretentious to assume that famous people will die before you.

“ I‘lo be gutted when so and so does!” Why? You might just die before them and they won’t even know.
As pp have said, I’m worried about my family and friends.
Any death is sad but obviously you feel it more the closer the person is to you.
Anyway... back to watching my movie

everythingisginandroses · 21/02/2020 19:32

Woody Allen

Ken Loach
