I'm trying to justify owning 5 decks of tarot cards by actually learning to read them. It's turning out to be quite hard to learn without getting any practice (I'm not going to give my partner any more readings since the cards encouraged her to break up with me), so I thought I'd do some readings on here just for fun.

It'll be three cards: situation/action/outcome. I'd appreciate knowing if you felt it had any bearing or if it was a right load of twaddle.

Disclaimer: some people have astonishing powers of intuition. I don't, nor do I believe the future can be predicted, so please don't leave your partner/quit your job/run away and join the circus on the back of this. It's just for fun.

This spread is about is a situation that has ended, and ended badly, leaving betrayal and disillusionment in its wake. This is hurt that's come from outside, perhaps someone your relied on, and not only has it hurt you, but by doing so it's left you less able to look after people who rely on you, and so has hurt them too. Your action needs to be to look after yourself, love yourself, and know that you're strong enough to nurture yourself and others through it. The outcome will leave you better off than before, stable and happy, and knowing that you can look after yourself and those closest to you without having to rely on outsiders.
