"This is the third suicide by someone who has appeared in Love Island, surely they’ll have to axe it now?"
But this is surely really distinguished.
The others involve the question of catapulting people who were brickies or lower rung models a week before in to the national conscious and dealing with the fall out of huge levels of fame without any coping method.
This is someone who was in the initial eye and was then allowed to fulfill their professional ambition by being the host of the biggest show on the country. I don't think you can say that giving a professional presenter a presenting job is somehow negligent if they subsequently experience a personal meltdown/fall from grace and are swallowed up by it.
"What else can we do when there’s nobody to stand trial? That poor woman was never found either innocent or guilty."
I think everyone will draw their own line on this. The recent Kobe threads show that, some people think let sheeting dogs lie, others think it's important to highlight the other side of people who are being venerated in death.
