There is something terribly old-fashioned about Boris Johnson. He is a man who seems to be held to account by the rules fir the upper classes in the 19th century. Mistresses, abortions, illegitimate children, marriages, scandals- much of it barely reported and he still wins high public office and is taken seriously by the establishment. Astonishing really!

I hadn't realised until recently how short he is. He must only be about 5ft 7.

Just think about this for a moment. The British PM is living ‘in sin’ with a woman young enough to be his daughter. She may be pregnant with his 6/7th child.

Ed Miliband was ‘made’ to marry his long time partner ( now a High Court Judge) and mother of his 2 children when he was leader of the opposition.

It troubles me greatly that Johnson can more or less do what he likes and gets away with it. This is just talking about his personal life. Don’t get me started with his policies.

I quite like her. She is in a situation that could have been handled really badly once he became PM but she has been dignified throughout and low-profile.

I read something before about an Alabama lawmakers bill - for men to be made to get vasectomies once they turn 50 or have fathered their third child - whichever comes first. I'm totally seeing why that'd be quite a good idea.
