What colour are my eyes? (Photo attached)

My eyes vary between green, blue and brown depending on the lighting and what clothes im wearing.

Last night I had to fill in a form which asked my eye colour and I put hazel. Dh thinks I should put green instead.

What would you call it

Before I read your post I thought hazel so will stick with that.

They are very like mine. I say mine are hazel.

They green more than anything so I'd go with that.

Technically brown, because that is the colour of the pigmentation cells in the iris. Eyes may appear to be a different colour depending on the levels of pigmentation.

Is that right @milktwosugarsthanks ? My dd has blue eyes with a ring of brown around the pupil. Does this mean her eyes are actually brown?!

Hazel. Green eyes are (to my mind) lighter than hazel eyes. More yellowy-limey or aqua coloured.

Mine are a bit like yours but more bluey-grey, and hazel seems a good enough catch-all for indeterminate colours. You have lovely eyes though!

They are the same colour as mine, which have always been hazel on documents etc.

Sometimes they look more green but mostly they look hazel. Green doesn't have the brown in.
