What colour are my eyes? (Photo attached)

My eyes vary between green, blue and brown depending on the lighting and what clothes im wearing.

Last night I had to fill in a form which asked my eye colour and I put hazel. Dh thinks I should put green instead.

What would you call it

I'm having fun taking pictures of my eyes in different rooms at home to try and get more votes for hazel - but life is not cooperating... However I have managed to make it go more grey metal coloured I think

I'd say hazel but like mine they probably change colour appearance dependent on light (or my other half says dependent on my mood).

Mine can look brown, green, something in between and sometimes have a lot of amber and yellow in them.

This is them today but they can look a very bright green other days. Weird. Pic heavily cropped as I have flu and cba with any make up.

They are very similar to mine, mine change colour as you say yours do. No'one has ever been able to tell me what colour mine are, they say "ermmm... bluey, greyish, green..." It's quite frustrating really. I'd say yours look more green than anything.

A green eye usually has a solid green hue with more or less a single color throughout the iris. A hazel eye, on the other hand, has more going for it than the average green eye. Hazel eyes are multi-coloured, with a shade of green and a characteristic burst of brown or gold radiating outwards from around the pupil.

Oh it's quite tricky isn't it to take pictures. I think op's are greeny hazel which is no help. Mine are a weird colour. Ds has beautiful bright blue eyes and dark hair - the only one of the six of us.

Beautiful eye colour. I think they are greeny blue as the brown part is not particularly dominant. My eyes are hazel and they are brown in the middle and green on the outside (no blue at all).

Mine are similar and I always say hazel and they're not blue, green or brown. There's lots of Amber in them in certain lights and blue/grey in others.

I'd never heard the term heterochromia before so looked on Wikipedia, which has led me to an "eye colour" page and an eye colour chart. Closest to mine is definitely the hazel option.

It says "hazel eyes often appear to shift in colour from a brown to a green"
