Chienloup · 03/02/2020 00:57
  1. I'm 41. Because of my nomadic childhood I still find it hard to settle.
Chienloup · 03/02/2020 01:00

Actually, no, 23.

Forcryingoutloudwtf · 03/02/2020 11:11

I'm in my 40s. I have lived in 12 different places.

wendywoopywoo222 · 03/02/2020 11:23

I'm 54 and lived in 3 houses.

Family home until I was 26. My first house for 3 years and my present house for 25 years.

2 in Sussex.
2 in East London.
2 in Essex.

AwdBovril · 03/02/2020 12:15

I’m 39, lived in 6 houses (10 if you count various houses as a student). Actually moving house right now, we’re in a temporary place until our new house is available.

sunshineandshowers21 · 03/02/2020 12:15

steppemum · 03/02/2020 12:18

lived in the same house for the last 10 years,
but just counted the total

32 houses all together.

wednesdayrobyn · 03/02/2020 12:19

I’m 34 and this is my 14 place, doubt we will move for quite sometime

Morporkia · 03/02/2020 12:24

27 homes in 3 countries, am 47 now have lived in same house for 15 years so a lot of moving about as a kid 😶

Roomba · 03/02/2020 12:25

I'm 43 and just counted up 13 so far. That's if I count University Halls as one. If I count every different room I lived in on campus, it's 19 places.

Five houses as a child (my parents' main hobby is moving house, getting bored with it after they've redecorated, then spending every weekend searching for the next house). I've been where I am now for 14 years and have no intention of moving ever again if I can help it, I find moving very stressful! Moved frequently as a student/young adult in rented houses.

nowlook · 03/02/2020 12:35

I'm 41 and have lived in six places I would call home.

  1. With parents from 0-5;
  2. With parents from 5-18 (we moved- nothing traumatic);
  3. Uni flat with (now) DH from 18-21;
  4. House with (now) DH from 21-23
  5. Second house with DH (who became DH during that period of occupancy) and DS1 then DS2 from 23-32)
  6. Current house with DH, DS1 and DS2 from 32 to date.

What a sheltered (boom tish) life.

Peoplearemiserable · 03/02/2020 12:35

2 and I’m 26. I’m such a home bird, moving house really doesn’t appeal to me. I love my home!

TinyPaws · 03/02/2020 12:46

18 I think, but I've moved in and out of a couple of those multiple times, so many more moves than that. I'm 33. Been in my current home just over 4 years and was adamant I didn't want to move again for a long time, weirdly I've just recently started getting itchy feet.

PH30B3 · 03/02/2020 12:58

30s and four two I've owned two with family lived in first house with parents until I was in my 20s.

steppemum · 03/02/2020 13:55

as someone who has lived in 32 different houses, (in 5 countries) I am amazed by people who have only lived in one or two.

And I expect they are equally amazed by me!

What I ifnd odd is that my kids, especially my youngest have spent the bulk of their childhood in one place, so they will be th eopposite of me. It almost makes me want to move, just so they don't get stuck!

CrowleysBentley · 03/02/2020 14:05
  1. I'm 43. Hopefully won't have to move again, now have a housing association flat, I'm on disability benefits and unlikely to be able to afford private rents, deposits or even moving costs again.
Mistymonday · 04/02/2020 20:20

24 places, I’m 37. 10 as child, 5 as student, 9 as adult.

YourBonesAreWet · 04/02/2020 21:20

Three. One growing up, a shared house for three months and then here with DH.
