Any podiatrists around? I have this lump on my 2nd toe. It feels like hard skin and is very painful
It looks yellowish, in the picture, but its actually quite pink. I thought maybe a bunion, but they seem to only be on the side of the foot. I can't look at any more manky foot pictures. Help!!!

Very disappointed that I can't see your picture. I was getting all geared up for something completely gross.

At as guess it might just be a callous? How big is it? And where on your toe?

Oakmaiden · 01/02/2020 19:11

Oh, now I can see it. Is it hard or squishy?

Whatthefunk · 01/02/2020 19:12

It's on the 2nd knuckle, from the tip of the toe

OP posts:
Whatthefunk · 01/02/2020 19:13

Its quite squishy, with a bit of a crust Sad

Hoohaahoo · 01/02/2020 19:13

Oh that is gross isn’t it. No idea what it is though, sorry!

BennytheBall · 01/02/2020 19:13

No experience, but chilblains?

Hoohaahoo · 01/02/2020 19:13

Are you sure it’s not a blister?

Whatthefunk · 01/02/2020 19:13

A corn perhaps ?

TwoHeadedYellowBelliedHoleDig · 01/02/2020 19:14

Totally gross. I'd poke it with a clean needle though Grin It looks like a blister.

Whatthefunk · 01/02/2020 19:15

Definitely not chilblains. Its been there for ages, but hasn't really bothered me. I've just bought some new yard boots, and its feckin agony....

Gingernaut · 01/02/2020 19:15

If it's soft a squidgy, it's possibly blistered.

If not, it looks like a calloused corn.

Look up hammer toes.

TheChosenTwo · 01/02/2020 19:15

It looks a bit like a corn. I don’t really know what a corn is, it just looks like something my grandma used to have and she said it was a corn!

Whatthefunk · 01/02/2020 19:16

Not a blister. There's no fluid in it🤢

OP posts:
TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 01/02/2020 19:17

Is it sore because the boots are pressing on it, or has it always been sore?

I would also poke it with a needle but I have zero self-control in these matters.

TwoHeadedYellowBelliedHoleDig · 01/02/2020 19:17

So you've poked it already? Shame on you Grin

JFDI2019 · 01/02/2020 19:18

Pop the fucker! And film it for us! Grin

Whatthefunk · 01/02/2020 19:18

Good grief! Its just a corn, isn't it???? I was fearing full toe removal, and all I need is a bloody corn padBlush
