Bedroom trends over the years

During my lack of sleep last night I started to remember the bedroom decor over the years - any one else recognise these? I had the wallpaper, bedding and ornaments all over my room
First off was Holly Hobby, a young girl wearing a large blue fluffy hat and patchwork dress
Then I evolved to Victoria Plum, a character with a flower on her head
A Pierrot clown phase - a scary black and white clown - wallpaper and even toiletry holders
Rosebuds over everything. Had my sons Moses basket covered with this fabric so he would match my bedding, wallpaper and make up brush holder. Marks and spencer blamed for this one
Then the celestial phase. Even had candlesticks and vases with this

I had forever friends and I also remember having Care Bears bedding

I had forever friends, Sunflowers and clouds. I also had the sponges effect wallpaper in my teens covered in take that posters 😂😂😂

We must be a similar age because I remember all of those and wanted every one but was never allowed them and only had plain painted yellow walls.

When I bought my first house in the 90's I put up stripy wallpaper on the bottom half with a patterned border and the top half had Fleur de lys all over it.

If it looks like something a unicorn has vomited out it's about DD1's bedroom theme level.

I had the M&S rosebuds!

Lemon I still have the square box in the corner and a wonderful hand with rosebuds on for rings

Anyone else remember paint effects with a sponge a la Changing Rooms?

I had holly hobby, snatch dog then a peach floral border with matching duvet.

My brother had black ash mid sleeper and Playboy curtains and bedding aged 12. Lol.

@Gertie75 we had the exact same in our living room when I was a child. It was a horrible shade of dark green and cream

I used to spend hours staring at alol the animals.
Also the Wimbledon!

The Wombles - bizarrely autocue is very insistent that that is the same as Wimbledon.

I had this exact pattern (from m and s) in the 70s.

Snatch!! I had pink and blue that were changed for the other when one was in the wash.

It’s highly likely my DM still has them in the airing cupboard

bedraggled, I forgot about Playboy themed bedrooms!

Fabulously - black ash furniture - bought this from Great Mills for my first flat - a desk, bookcase & filing cabinet all for £50 in 1990 and I still have the filing cabinet !

There was a yellow, blue and sunflowers thing going on for a while too

The only thing on my wall as a kid (other than art) was a couple Beatle posters.
My step kids had the full football team thing - bedlinen, curtains etc. Ugly colours and I was really hoping they wouldn't insist on it at my house (luckily they didn't).
My own kids chose their own decor - daughter has yellow walls and artwork (a painting of a swan, a collage and a few of her own). My son has grey walls and some prints of a cityscape and a seascape he chose. Neither ever had posters up.
I had friends who had wall to wall David Cassidy and the like, but we never had themes.

I hated those clowns. Even when I had one on my bed, it was a coercive relationship.

I had hideous green flowery wallpaper as I wasn't allowed to choose.
