So yesterday my carer and I were discussing him getting a kindle. I have 2 working kindles and I suggested he get them both to look at the features / size / weight.

He was convinced they were identical so, to solve the issue he weighed them both.

I was right. One kindle is 3g lighter than the other.

So I seem to have a superpower of noticing when things are slightly lighter/heavier.

What power(s) do you have?

Having being made as a child to drink almost a whole bottle of sour milk as a child I can now detect offness before others.
My exh got me to sniff stuff if he wasnt sure,if I headed for the sink it got thrown.
This means I am very secure about eat by dates and only throw if it's begining to turn.

@TheMotherofAllDilemmas I meant that if he knows what the spare room of his dad's friend smells like, then that is the weird and creepy bit, especially how you described it. Sorry

Dad’s friend was his new partner.

Wife these days I suppose, what a filthy mind you have! Grin

I do have a filthy mind, but that is an aside!

It sounded a bit like a grooming scenario: dad's friend's spare room... Assumed male friend or you would have said girlfriend, and why would a young boy be in there? Glad there is nothing to be worried about!
