Ok so I’m a bit bored as I have a flu. Otherwise I usually do have a life..

Is anyone like me a bit protective of Jennifer Aniston and thinkng Brad doesn’t really deserve her and that I’m quite struggling to see myself forgiving someone who would do to me what Brad did to Jen??

I come from a home with devastating divorce between parents With ongoing grudges and I’m projecting a lot and wondering whether normal people forgive such things and why and how ?

Supposedly his parents stayed friends with Jen. They are such wholesome Midwesterners. They had to be properly horrified by AJ

When interviewed she is like many actresses knows her lines, plays to the audience but really has nothing of interest to say what interests who knows maybe nothing other than clothes, fillers and fake tan nothing wrong with that but she hardly comes across as someone who is particularly interesting or particularly interested

I think many women like her as she could be a friend - let’s face it a friend you would prefer around a partner than Jolie who is ridiculously sexual

I don't really get this idea whereby people whose job it is to pretend to be someone else are somehow supposed to be more 'interesting' than, say, teachers or librarians. Most actors aren't particularly well-educated and often live in a celebrity bubble. Why should their opinions on anything other than their own profession be of particular interest?

I can't think of the last time I've heard an actor offer an opinion on anything of substance and thought "Wow! That was really well-informed and thought-provoking!" Can you?

If you're suggesting that women feel threatened by Jolie, that might have been true 10 or 15 years ago but I think Jen is ageing much better, even though she's 8 years Jolie's senior.

Well it’s highly unlikely that any of us will be hanging out will either JA or AJ and both have had huge amounts of fillers one has had children (that ages everyone) and has been through some awful health scares

Anyway I would hope any women so publicity humiliated by an ex partner who then went on to twist the knife further would have enough respect for themselves to tell him where to go

Brad is a decent actor but not steller in my book. Looked his best in Troy imo.

Jen might be looking to boost her profile. She's never really given truly heavy weight film roles. Nothing Oscar worthy and she might reasonably want to play better roles. Being Hollywood gossip might make producers feel she's popular and can draw audiences. Few Hollywood actresses have as good careers in their later years. Meryl Streep being a rare exception.

The rumours can only work in her favour career wise

@MrsTerryPratchett I haven’t seen Benjamin Button - looks like I dodged a bullet. I did think he was good in Fight Club and Snatch though and really fantastic in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (hated the film though!)

She's getting $2 million an episode for "The Morning Show" and has just won a SAG award. Not the most prestigous but still. She also gets a ton of money from product endorsements. Her career is doing fine. I don't think she needs to resort to stunts but as I've said she's very PR savvy and has played this whole saga with class.

I'm team Brad. I think he's got ability in the right role (Burn after Reading eg) - you can't take your eyes off him on screen and not just because he's hot. He seems a fun guy, though I'm not sure I'd want to have kids with him. Angelina Jolie sounds essentially very screwed up though gorgeous beyond belief. JA seems fine but I never saw the chemistry between them.

It's such an interesting dynamic from the outside. Of course, we are massively projecting onto it.

Think it was Johnathan Ross who said Anniston waits to be chosen and Jolie chooses. That's the dynamic from my distant observation based on very little

I think Jen knows exactly what she is doing! It must have crossed her mind that AJ will see the photos and she’s probably cackling about it in private with her friend’s daughter. Bloody well good for her too! What goes around comes around eh? Now AJ knows what it feels like

I'm not sure someone who's supposedly worth over $200 million needs my protection but bearing in mind that I don't have a clue what she's actually like behind all the PR spin, yes I do like her. It's refreshing to have a celeb who doesn't inflict any ill-informed opinions on the public and who just gets on with living what seems to be a rather sweet life. And the fact that she's maintained loads of female friendships over the years is a point in her favour in my book.

Jen meanwhile would appear not to have progressed in 15 years abd be letting him hang around like a bad smell again. And appear is enough, it’s making her look pathetic and I’m pretty sure ange and her female UN either friend aren’t giving the pathetic point scoring attempt any head space.

Yes to that! Strikes me as pretty real, natural and funny. Nothing fake, pseudo or self virtuous going on.

Brad seems nice but dim to me. Plus he seems like an immature stoner. I think both of them could do better personally

I can’t remember the woman’s name but they were reportedly very close after the Brad split. Rumours were they were in a relationship .

Love the way people say she has no female friends yet brad said her female friends were like a coven.

Also love the way women are split into likeable and fuckable.
