Ok so I’m a bit bored as I have a flu. Otherwise I usually do have a life..

Is anyone like me a bit protective of Jennifer Aniston and thinkng Brad doesn’t really deserve her and that I’m quite struggling to see myself forgiving someone who would do to me what Brad did to Jen??

I come from a home with devastating divorce between parents With ongoing grudges and I’m projecting a lot and wondering whether normal people forgive such things and why and how ?

I hear you. She did say at some point that she wanted children - maybe it was to shut people up, or maybe she did want them, and then she didn't, or maybe she was always ambivalent about the whole thing. Who knows!

I think if she wanted kids badly enough she'd have found a way to make it happen, even as a single mother through adoption. In any case, she wasn't dependent on Brad Pitt for this, and I doubt she needs our sympathy.

Need to check my sources as to why I had assumed she was hoping for them and it was taken from her! I hope I was wrong

Kind of depressing how an extremely rich, succesful, popular and attractive woman is deemed to be somehow a failure just because she hasn't reproduced. I bet you'd never say that about a similarly succesful man.

IcedPurple I only say that because I beleive I read somewhere that she was really trying for a family... not because every woman should !

But if it reallt mattered to me to have kids and I didn’t because of someone then no money in the world would make me happy.

I’m not being a misogynist. I would say the same about a man who wanted kids and couldn’t because of a woman.

Now the issue is I might be following false rumours and need to double check but I’m pretty sure I saw somewhere in her interviews that she wanted kids but was waiting for the right time.

To me that sounds like the standard answer female (men don't get asked this question) stars give when asked the intrusive "Why dont' you have children?" question. It's vague enough to shut down the topic without commitment, but avoids the woman having to say that she doesn't actually want children. Because amazingly enough, at least among the 'middle America' crowd Jen appeals to, that is still considered a controversial opinion.

Again though... Brad Pitt is not the only man on earth. They split up in 2005 so she had time to get pregnant if she so desperately wanted to. She lives in California where you can legally buy a baby so that would have been an option for her if she wanted to be a mother so badly.

But maybe she didn't? Is it really that hard to believe?

Brad is looking better than he has in years

He looks good from a distance but close up you can see that he's had a lot of 'work' done. He's starting to get a bit of a Ken Doll look about him.

I hope she doesn't get back with him. I like to think she has more wits about her and self respect to prevent her going down that messy road again.

There was a point where he was obviously dabbling with an injectable but that seems to have faded. I thought his recent movies have shown how good an actor he is too. He's never been my bag not into pretty men but recently he's caused flutters.

I think he was in a LA stoner lifestyle, and then wanted kids, and Jen didn’t.

Angelina wanted kids, so they got together to have wild adventures had some kids.
Then Ang booted him back to the stoner zone when he used up his adventure and kids cards.

In some way Ang and Jen are both just two sides of the same coin. Kids, no kids. Brad in the stoner zone goes for the easy option every time...

he’s going for Jen now because he’s had his kids, and traveled and had adventures with Ang, and Jen is safe and available like a pair of old slippers; and he’s basically lazy.

He's actually a decent actor and is good in comic roles. I think he's basically a character actor in the body of a leading man!

Jen was with him when he was very handsome , very Robert Redford and for a while they looked very happy, but he made a fool of Jen with the very odd AJ ,and all those children and the dramas of life would put me off giving him a second chance.
I remember that ridiculous photo shoot of him and AJ with lots of children round a kitchen table , playing at happy families and I would have been very hurt and annoyed if I had been Jen , once bitten, twice shy I say.

Yes and before Brad and Jen's divorce was even final, there were (obviously staged) pics of Brad, Angie and her son playing happy families on the beach in Kenya. Could they not have waited?

Obviously I don't know him, but Brad strikes me as someone who is quite weak and pretty average in every way - other than his looks. It's been pointed out that he basically takes on the looks and 'persona' of whatever woman he is with at the time. As for Jen, she had him in his prime so why go back to that?

Spot on. If she wanted a child free life then it’s certainly not on to become a step mum for 6 of them, with what be an awkward dynamic with their mother.

I just hope he is desperate to be with her and she is saying NO

I’m so glad I saw that video from the awards! Hahahaha how freezing time can change the whole meaning. Seems like no one was gazing at anyone for longer than a split second. Phewwwwwwwwwww
