Jen and Brad

Ok so I’m a bit bored as I have a flu. Otherwise I usually do have a life..

Is anyone like me a bit protective of Jennifer Aniston and thinkng Brad doesn’t really deserve her and that I’m quite struggling to see myself forgiving someone who would do to me what Brad did to Jen??

I come from a home with devastating divorce between parents With ongoing grudges and I’m projecting a lot and wondering whether normal people forgive such things and why and how ?

He’s not ageing well at all

He's starting to look like a blonde Benicio del Toro.

Who is Mick?

And omg. I feel really unsettled by it too.

RitaHayworthHair · 29/01/2020 19:24

If Jolie snapped her fingers, he'd go running to her.

Anniston would be crazy to open herself to further humiliation.

WendyMoiraAngelaDarling · 29/01/2020 19:29

feel sad that he sort of took any family plans with him and had that with someone else

I read an interview with Jen where she said he wouldn't make the lifestyle changes she wanted before she'd have a child with him and that's why they didn't have children. I thought straight away alcohol. He admits himself he was a stoner, his drink issues are common knowledge and why his marriage to Ange broke up and his two eldest won't see him. Even with massive PR cover up we know this. It's only very recently he's been allowed to see his children unsupervised. He's NOT a catch and she'd be mad to get back with him. Glad Ange dumped him too. Good for her for getting an alcoholic away from her kids.

How do you know ? I don’t see it. I think he can’t handle the responsibility of 6 kids and have been wanting out for a while. And I think Jolies maternal instincts only tolerated his man-childness because she naturally has tendency to tolerate kids, smothering with maternal love but I don’t think they had that spark anymore as he seems to melt with his identity at the sight of any woman. I don’t think he had much input into things and was just lacking boundaries and doing things for the sake of people pleasing and only realized when a bit too late.

Jen... on the other hand, probably is just nostalgic and feeling a bit of “what ifs” but knows it’s irrational and won’t fall for it. Hopefully !!!

The irrational side of me still wants them together, but I’m hoping me and Jen come out of this with logic intact. Because of course my input in this is so important Grin

See this is pissing me off.

Why do people think she's fucking stupid enough to go back there? It's perfectly capable to feel care towards someone you once loved even when they fucked you over. They once had something and she is gracious enough to still be friendly and caring towards him. Doesn't meant she's desperate to get back in his pants ffs. I hope sincerely hope she has far more self respect as I suspect she does.

theemmadilemma · 29/01/2020 19:35

I'm so pissed off I mangled that last sentence.

DangerMouse17 · 29/01/2020 19:35

Jen through her marriage to Brad was also a "stoner", according to some....

HeronLanyon · 29/01/2020 19:38

I have a fondness for them as a couple. Really like ja. Always have. Hasn’t he been through rehab and aren’t a lot of his demons dealt with? I like seeing him apparently happy and in a better place. I’m any event if they have managed to have a friendship which works for them both (at whatever level) that’s great I think.

illandBored · 29/01/2020 19:40

theemmadilemma

I don’t know if she want to be back or not but I do think there is a huge fan club that wants her to and it makes me a bit despair for womankind as I think like you said this undermines her self respect and gives him so much of his way undeservedly!

But the illogical side of me however...

He described life with her as boring (she does come across as vacuous)

Why would she give him the time of day after he so publicly humiliated her

RitaHayworthHair · 29/01/2020 19:56

Jolie seems to mesmerise her partners. All the ex's stay in touch and make possessive statements. She seems to be the one who ends the relationships.

Men (and women) are very attracted to her in an almost slavish way.

Sundancer77 · 29/01/2020 19:56

Love her and think she has acted with class all along. She’s known as a stoner too, who likes a drink and a fun time 🤷‍♀️
I read/heard she didn’t want kids, he did, that’s why they split in some ways..who knows? I think if she did want kids, she would have most likely had them by now, through adoption etc if naturally wasn’t a possibility, she’s great.

Winstonwolfe · 29/01/2020 19:59

He has an incredible gift for making people love him and forget what he did. Even when I saw him recently in all the press for "once upon a time in Hollywood " I think oh wow what a lovely guy, he has such a lovely way about him. But the reality is he completely fecked her over, made a complete show of her so publicly. She's incredibly gracious to even give him the time of day. But fair play to her, she has come out of it all looking like the better person. Who would love to see Jen and Angie cross paths at some awards, Can you imagine! Strange it's never happened

IcedPurple · 29/01/2020 20:02

I don't think she comes across as vacuous at all. Quite on the contrary she is smart enough to know how to play to her strengths as a light drama actress and 'girl next door' type and not bore the public with vapid 'insights' on climate change or the refugee crisis. I wish more celebrities were like her.

Besides, I must have missed the bit where Brad Pitt turned into a raging intellect...

Sundancer77 · 29/01/2020 20:05

I don’t see her as vacuous at all, she seems pretty switched on, witty and hunourous.

Sundancer77 · 29/01/2020 20:06

*Humorous

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 29/01/2020 20:11

She strikes me as fairly normal, within the scope of that level of fame, wealth, privilege

He's clearly a pseudointellectual type, fancies himself clever lots of surface guff about "issues" little knowledge or substance to back it, such as many slebs both before and since.

VideographybyLouBloom · 29/01/2020 20:12

I’ve always thought Brad was a fantastic actor actually - not just a ‘pretty boy’. I also think that, when given the right role, Jennifer is a really good actress. She’s great in The Good Girl.

A bit like his latest ex wife.

MrsTerryPratchett · 29/01/2020 20:31

May I suggest Benjamin Button? Steaming pile of arse.

MrsTerryPratchett · 29/01/2020 20:32

Fight Club was good. I suspect that was direction though.

IcedPurple · 29/01/2020 20:35

Brad Pitt is no Daniel Day Lewis but he can do well with the right role.

But I think it's fair to say that it's his looks, not his acting range, which made him a star.

Winniethepoohbear · 29/01/2020 20:37

Team Jen but I would hate for her to take him back. Would rather he try to woo her and she say no, karma is a bitch
