Anyone never had a... Nosebleed, headache, other common ailment?

Talking to lady in MacDonalds as I tired to stop sons nose bleeding and she commented she'd never had a nosebleed, to which I was quite frankly agog.

Also remember someoen telling me in our 20s they'd never had a headache.

I've never had a broken bone but that seems a lot more dramatic 😂

I'm 55 Never had a nosebleed and also have never drank tea

MrsTaytodarling · 29/01/2020 03:19

I've never burped, fart loads though. Never had a nosebleed, uti, chest infection

ShowOfHands · 29/01/2020 03:23

@mawbroon I bet you have had flu. Its a misconception that it is completely debilitating. 77% of people with flu have zero symptoms. I've had swabbed and confirmed swine flu and only felt slightly run down.

RE not burping, I don't find it painful or annoying. I've never had indigestion or heartburn and have no "need" to burp nor can I work out how to do it.

Never had a nose bleed.

joystir59 · 29/01/2020 03:31

Never had a cold sore

Awkward1 · 29/01/2020 09:15

I never broke a bone, or fainted. No proper nose bleed - where it's flowing.

Seems the not breaking bones goes with not fillings (not for me though).

Do the non vomitters get diarrhoea or maybe headaches instead when others are ill.

Lack of period pain could be pcos as maybe not ovulating in some people.
But did you feel a lot of pain in labour?

Would be Amazing to be the parent of a non-V child wouldnt it.

HakunaMatataa · 29/01/2020 09:19

Never broken a bone or had a nosebleed. I wish I'd never had a headache!
I'm mind blown by people never having a bruise. As pp has said I get them constantly but can never remember how.

Blobby10 · 29/01/2020 09:25

only ever had one nosebleed when pregnant with my eldest. Went into total panic as no idea how to deal with it Grin

Never tried a cigarette, Or drugs.

mrspotatohed · 29/01/2020 09:41

I've never had a nosebleed or a cold sore, or a toothache

Cookit · 29/01/2020 09:43

Never having a headache would be AMAZING.

DS gets nosebleeds all the time. I was the same when I was a child. Even as an adult I probably get them more than average.

VetOnCall · 29/01/2020 10:01

I don't ever feel the need to burp either, certainly never had pain from it. I remember as a kid my cousins burping away and me trying to but just couldn't do it Grin I don't think I've ever had heartburn either tbh, I can't recall ever feeling the sensation that I've heard it described as.

I'm forever finding random bruises on my legs and arms though, and I have allergic rhinitis and get regular annoying sneezing fits to make up for the lack of burping!

StealthPolarBear · 29/01/2020 10:02

I only really get headaches when I'm thirsty, hungover or very tired. There's always a olution iyswim. Don't ever really have them for no particular reason.

CookPassBabtridge · 29/01/2020 10:10

Never had a nosebleed.
Never broken a bone or had an injury.
Never had a coldsore.
Never had a UTI

Sojo88 · 29/01/2020 10:15

Interesting thread! I, too, have never had brain freeze and always feel frustrated that I don't know what people are talking about when they have it! Also don't have cramps (except period cramps). Apparently had bad nose bleeds when I was a child but don't remember them! Hadn't vomited since I was a child (emetophobic) but unfortunately broke that record at Christmas Sad
Never been drunk or broken bones.

Zoflorabore · 29/01/2020 16:57

Oh just saw someone mentioned thrush. Never had that either. Or nits.

pastapestoparmesan · 29/01/2020 17:21

Never:
broken a bone
fainted
had a filling
burped properly
had a uti

First time I went to hospital in my life was in my 40s, with cancer. Now I’m there all the bloody time. Sigh.

schnubbins · 29/01/2020 17:26

I am 54 years old and I have never had flu ,get a cold about once every 10 years . I have never had a nosebleed either. Broken bones and the shitty aftermath, I know all about though.

GiantKitten · 29/01/2020 17:38

TheSheepofWallSt
This is absolutely mental.
I feel like a lumpen, misshapen, plaque riddled, flatulent, bruised black and blue heft of humanity compared to you lot.

Grin

Me too! The only things I’ve swerved are broken bones & cold sores. I’m completely boggled by the unbruised & the perfect teeth Shock

Awkward1 · 29/01/2020 18:23

If you dont catch colds- would you say you have a highish body temperature?

CigarsofthePharoahs · 29/01/2020 18:46

I'm not sure if I've broken a bone or not.
The last ever time I went ice skating I slipped up and landed very heavily on my bum. It was six weeks before I could sit properly and the pain in the first fortnight was intense. So, could well have fractured my coccyx, but all the advice was stay home and rest so I didn't seek treatment.
The only other thing mentioned here is that I've never had s cold sore. Have had plenty of nosebleeds, faints, colds, flu though.

TheSheepofWallSt · 29/01/2020 23:39

I’ve just been to see the GP today with an ear infection I just can’t shift. Turns out I’ve got a perforated ear drum Envy (not envy)

I bet you lot don’t even get ear wax.

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 29/01/2020 23:41

I’m not a burper either. I have rarely when I’ve been vomiting. The sound of people burping makes me feel sick and I suspect that’s why.

punknarwhal · 30/01/2020 00:09

I can't close either of my eyes on their own, either they both close or neither close. I've never fainted, never broken anything and never had diarrhoea.

SecondaryBurnzzz · 30/01/2020 00:19

I've never fainted,
only vomited 4 times in whole life (DD the same)
never get stomach bugs

often get sore throats, temperatures though
