Anyone never had a... Nosebleed, headache, other common ailment?

Talking to lady in MacDonalds as I tired to stop sons nose bleeding and she commented she'd never had a nosebleed, to which I was quite frankly agog.

Also remember someoen telling me in our 20s they'd never had a headache.

I've never had a broken bone but that seems a lot more dramatic 😂

I'd never experienced heartburn until I was pregnant with my DD. Gpuggef gavisvon for 9 months and never had it since! Is indigestion the same as heartburn? I have no idea what people are experiencing when they say they have indigestion!

I had a patient turn up in A&E who not only had never vomited before but also had apparently never seen vomiting, and then got food poisoning and was freaked out by it.

“All this stuff keeps coming out of nowhere!”

“It’s food, out of your stomach. You are vomiting. Go home”.

“But that’s not vomiting, vomiting is when you do this cough”

“That’s a cough. Vomiting is what we just watched you do two minutes ago. Go home, go to bed and this will settle down”

Touch wood I've not broken a bone. Or had a nosebleed. I don't get headaches any more since giving up alcohol.

I think it's impossible to have never had a bruise, unless you've lived a perfectly inactive life. Perhaps you've just not bothered to remember the bruises you've had.

Also burping isn't really avoidable is it? We all swallow air when eating and drinking that has to be expelled. I'm guessing you fart a lot, if none of the swallowed air can be got rid of upwards!

I've had the whole shebang of minor injuries and ailments. I've even electrocuted myself Confused

Amazed by all those who have never had nosebleeds. I used to have them every few days as a child.
As for never having had a bruise-seriously you have never fell, bashed into to something, played contact sport etc
I have never had a cold sore, tonsillitis or mumps if that counts as a common ailment.

Never broke a bone
Never fainted
Have had heart burn twice - once in each pregnancy.
Another one who doesn't know what indigestion is.
I can't burp properly. Never have been able to I remember as a child telling people I've never burped. Sometimes I feel like I need to but a all I can ever manage is a tiny pathetic croak in the back of my throat.

Never burped, if I think I’m going to I puke. Like there’s no bloody middle ground.

I've never had a nose bleed.

I've never broken a bone, in fact when I went to A&E last year with a suspected broken ankle my DP wouldn't believe me that I'd never been a patient at the hospital before until check in and the receptionist said "oh You've never been seen here before". Been living here for nearly 20 years!!

Never had a nose bleed (and I’m on blood thinners after a contraceptive pill related blood clot in my lung)

Never been drunk- used to drink at university and college but never had the ability to get drunk and never had a hangover. I don’t drink at all now as it doesn’t affect me so no point

Never smoked

Never had any dental treatment (never even needed a scale)

Only time I have had antibiotics was when pregnant for water infections, otherwise I’ve never had them either

First time I was ever sick was when I was pregnant and had HG (that was a rude awakening to being sick)

Never had a cold sore, ear infections, mumps etc

I also don’t bruise easily. Can’t remember having them as a child and I was a climber, outdoor loving child. I only now bruise occasionally due to the blood thinners even with big knocks and even then it’s probably not as bad as what I would expect and heals with a day or two

My mum says the only times she can remember me being ill as a child was measles and chicken pox. I have Never really suffered from colds etc until I had a small child in my house spreading her nursery bugs.
I have however broke my foot slipping over in a carpet running for a phone and had my appendix removed last year (turned out I had a cyst on the ovaries and it was referred pain from this but they removed the appendix anyway) so have had some things.

I'm so envious of anyone that has never had a headache. My Mum is 72 and never had one!
I've never broken a bone or had a filling or fainted.

I've never had brain freeze either.. my husband and all my kids have had it either w swimming in cold water or eating ice cream. I have no idea what they are going on about when they talk about it.

I'm not a burper either... I have burped in the past but it's rare. I can't force myself to burp.

Nothing broken
No dental work

I don't bruise and literally cannot remember ever having one, and there are
many times I should've had one!

I’m 35 and I have;
Never broken a bone
Never sprained anything.
Never had a filling
Never had heartburn
Never had a mouth ulcer
Never fainted
Never had a local or general anesthetic.

And I don’t get headaches either but I do get a slight pain above my eye when it’s noisy 🤣🤣

Never had a nose bleed, never fainted, no broken bones, never been to hospital, never taken anti biotics and I'm 40 next year. I don't think I've ever really had a headache that wasn't self inflicted either WineBlush.

Of course I have now tempted fate and will end up in a & e tomorrow having fainted over having my first ever nosebleed and shattering my forearm in the process, there I will contract some kind of disease which requires antibiotics. Best to get it all over in one go I suppose.

I haven’t ever been sick. My DF, who died last year at 79, wasn’t ever sick either.

I spent 7 months of my pregnancy nauseated though!

I've never had a nosebleed, never fainted, and I can't burp either. If I gulp a fizzy drink really fast I might do a kind of quiet half burp kind of thing, but it's not a loud proper burp like others do. I've never been able to do it, even if I actually try I can't. I rarely vomit, actually can't remember the last time, it's been well over 10 years.

Never had stitches or an operation, but I do plenty of them Smile

My daughter has never cried tears, and most probably never will. The doctors don't know why. I worry that people will think she's making up her emotions as she's older. I was reading a thread about love island and how one of the girls must have been faking her upset as there were no tears rolling down her face. This will literally be my daughter Sad
