What are your dc school hours?

Just that really, we are in Ireland and my dcs school times are
8.40- 1.20 (Dd age 6)
And DS’s age 8 and 11 are 8.40-2.20

What are your dc school hours and where are you?

Norway

6 year old (year 1 at school) 8.15 to 13.15 monday, thursday, friday. 8.30 to 13.30 on tuesdays and on thursdays they have an 'outside day' where they go on a full day trip somewhere - either out in nature or the library or a museum.

8.50am- 3.15pm. Age 6 and 4, England.

Dd5 primary 9:55-3:30
Dd15 secondary 8:35-2:50

England

Canada. DS is 8. His school runs from 8:55 to 3:40

The catholic school right next door runs from 8:05 to 2:45 to stagger the parking chaos.

Both systems have pretty much every other Friday off. School summer holiday runs from late June to early September.

Secondary school

UK. Primary age DC.

Gates open 8:40 & they do morning mile, then in & start their day 8:50. Finish at 3:20.

Both at secondary school - DD Y8 and DS Y9. It's a mixed boarding and day school (state) and they are day pupils. Their school day is 8.40-5.30 Monday-Thursday and 8.40-3.45 on Fridays. They have longer school holidays to compensate for the longer school day. We are in the South East.

South England
Nursery at mo so 8.30 TIL 11.30 but I think school is 8.40 TIL 3.10

Oldest sat secondary is 8.40 TIL 3.10

Wales

DSs are both at secondary school 0840-1515

The primary school where I work is 0900-1520 for Foundation Phase, 0900-1530 for KS2

12 year old, year 7 - 8.25 - 3.00
5 year old, year 1 - 9.00 - 3.30

Dd is 6 at primary and does 8:30 to 3:15

English Private Seconday:

8.20am - 4.00pm

England

8am - 5:45pm. (Yr 8 and private). The last hour and a half is for doing Prep so they can totally chill when they get home).

South England.

Ds1 (year 11) uhhh... 8.50-somewhen
Ds2 (year 8, different school) 8.40- sometime or other. He finishes earlier on a Friday.

International school in SE Asia
7:50 - 3:10, but both dcs do sports / activities after school, so rarely finish before 4:30. It's a long day.

Bell rings at 8.50 but doors open until 9am.
Finish at 3.15.

England.

0840 to 1500 primary.

DH is a teacher in a new school. They are 0740 to 1420 (secondary), there are a number of schools nearby and they had to agree to earlier hours for planning.

My kids here in Germany (now finished school)but Secondary school was 7.55 -1pm. The first year of school here at 6 yrs of age is only 8am until 11 .30.

DS2 (primary) 8:50-3:20
DD (secondary) 8:45-3:20 Monday-Thursday, 8:45-3:05 Friday (no assembly)

DS hasn't started yet but our nearest primary is 8.45-3.15 in England.

8.30 - 15.00 but after school care until 18.00 primary school
