Don’t utterly gorgeous names of course

New puppy- everyone here has a dog called Archie, Alfie or Teddy and of course they’re popular because they’re great names- I want to yell a name and only have one dog come back Grin

I have a list to do for the kids and husband for this little fella as nobody can agree

I like Bellamy (after the ledge that is David Bellamy)
Brian (fab name for a Dog I think )
Rufus
Tank
Bowie (Dave was a hero ) 😊

Family hate all of those

This is not him but a photo that’s a very close
Resemblance

Save me from The name Alfie and Archie please

@TrueToad Grin my cats are Trevor and Alan (Alan is a girl though, if we’d have known she’d have been Linda).

Dont call the dog Brian or Gary. It isnt as funny as you think it is and it will insult somebody s9mewhere.
If dog goes missing and you're yelling "Brian" people might think you are missing a child. Not everybody gets that Brian is not a child's name. Thst is not as obvious as you would hope when standing in a park yelling "brian".
Some wisecracker will say "boyfriend runaway love,"

TheYearOfTheDog · 13/01/2020 17:14

I suggest Rebus

Why on earth would someone get insulted because OP calls her dog Brian?

MuseumOfYou · 13/01/2020 17:27

He's gorgeous OP Our Digby is a mini golden doodle - his father is a black miniature poodle. He's quite large so far!!

Most dogs around me are Max, Sam Jack, Molly, Lucy, Willow type names - like a nursery class. A lot were named in rescue and kept those names.
I know a Biscuit like the dog in the photo, she's lovely.

MAndSReadyMealForOne · 13/01/2020 17:34

Offended by me naming my dog ‘Brian’?!

Pull the other one.

MAndSReadyMealForOne · 13/01/2020 17:35

‘Someone will think your child has run away’

Oh come on Hmm. Even though I’m stood there in a dog park with a lead in my hand?

ItWentDownMyHeartHole · 13/01/2020 17:37

With these names they’ll think you’ve lost your dad.
