Don’t utterly gorgeous names of course

New puppy- everyone here has a dog called Archie, Alfie or Teddy and of course they’re popular because they’re great names- I want to yell a name and only have one dog come back Grin

I have a list to do for the kids and husband for this little fella as nobody can agree

I like Bellamy (after the ledge that is David Bellamy)
Brian (fab name for a Dog I think )
Rufus
Tank
Bowie (Dave was a hero ) 😊

Family hate all of those

This is not him but a photo that’s a very close
Resemblance

Save me from The name Alfie and Archie please

I like Bellamy as well or Bertie or Barkley.

Other names:

Sidney
Winston
Napoleon
George
Walter
Fletcher
Baxter

Also think about if you will shorten the name.

Livebythecoast · 13/01/2020 14:35

I met a Springer spaniel puppy yesterday called Watson - he really suited it too!

vampirethriller · 13/01/2020 14:35

Trevor

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 13/01/2020 14:36

Looks like a Terry to me... I think that's a fab name for a dog!!

Horsemad · 13/01/2020 14:36

Looks like a Biscuit to me but someone told me dogs respond better to names ending in an 'ee' sound.

So, Toby? Or Sonny? 🙂

CatInTheDaytime · 13/01/2020 14:36

Awwwww! (and I'm a cat person!)

I love Brian, but instead of everyone else's dog you might attract a crowd of middle-aged men :o

I would call him Bungy.

coffeeagogo · 13/01/2020 14:37

I like derek - my last pooch was Basil and it suited him perfectly. Am working on my DH for another one and I want to get a poodle and call him/her noodle

Kubo · 13/01/2020 14:37

Kermit

HairyString · 13/01/2020 14:37

HelloDoris · 13/01/2020 14:41

Geoffrey or Geoff for short...

AlessandroVasectomi · 13/01/2020 14:42

Eric. But when we get a dog that’s what he’ll be called, so I won’t mind if you pass it up.

SittingwithPippa · 13/01/2020 14:43

He looks like a Frank

mclover · 13/01/2020 14:45

Gatsby

EmNetta · 13/01/2020 14:47

I don't like human names for dogs, and apart from causing confusion, I'd find it insulting to any of my family.
Surely there are plenty of more suitable names?

Nyctophyllia · 13/01/2020 14:47

Jura
Harvey

Eeeeek2 · 13/01/2020 14:48

Winston
Alan
Gary

HazelBite · 13/01/2020 14:48

Ernie
Reggie
Duncan
Sidney

Actually he really looks a Reggie to me!

HoldMyLobster · 13/01/2020 14:50

Looking at that photo, he's quite obviously Bruno.

Thinkingabout1t · 13/01/2020 14:54

I'm just beaming at that photo. Gorgeous dog! Digby and Digory sound like fun names that you won't feel embarrassed shouting.
