What crazy people think the After Eights box is blue? Dark green surely?

The fivers are a bit more ambiguous. They have enough blue on them to be called blue, but just enough green-toned turquoise to be called green.

The Bank of England images look brighter than most photos and I'd say the fiver's definitely cyan actually. Which is exactly midway between green and blue.

I’m rubbish with green and blue and also have issues with blue and lilac. During a conversation in the summer found out my Grandad had issues with blue/green, my Aunt has difficulty and her Granddaughter does too.

Green

The new plastic ones are the perfect shade of turquoise. The previous paper version was definitely green.

After a bit of googling, it seems there are some very strange people when it comes to selling a £5 for £100,000 - the seller even wrote "you know you want to" in the description.

On a more sensible note, I've just learned that the queen gets the first note with the serial number AA01 000001.
