I'm making garlic chicken & leek potato bake from a recipe I found on Pinterest. Serving with green beans, and a for me, because I couldn't decide whether it needed something else alongside it.

What's cooking at yours?

Meatball marinara with crusty bread, side of pâté de champagne, leftover brie, slow roasted tomatoes and some FLAMIN' HOT CHEETOS. Washed down with a delightful South African chenin.

If autocorrect is to be believed, DH is cooking rats. It looks more like wraps- spicy chicken with peppers and red onion 🧅

Having a lazy evening - just me on the sofa with sushi. Bliss 😊

Fish fingers, mash, peas and parsley sauce

Roasted veg and quinoa with hot smoked salmon.

We had pasta bake, crusty bread, salad and some tiramisu for afters.

We had chicken teriyaki, tartare sauce, salad and rice, then chocolate ice cream and strawberries.

We had Southern fried chicken, corn on the cob, potato salad, coleslaw and chips (jacket potato for me, as I'm not keen on chips), cooked by 14 year old DD!

Was gutted, I bought a reduced Mexican half chicken from Co-OP a few weeks back and froze it. Defrosted it today and cooked it and when I carved it up, there was a big bloody mass near a bone, not uncooked, more like I'd hit an artery or something . I had to throw it away and quickly adapt the meal. My rice and veg was cooked and ready, I was fuming!

We had a vegetable and noodle stir fry with poached salmon and sweet chilli sauce followed by caramel chocolate pots with custard

Kiev and chips. Also couldn't be arsed as entertaining since Christmas Eve. Really enjoyed it 😂

We had Jamie's vegan shepherds pie, it was delicious. I did add milk, butter and goats cheese to the mash so not exactly vegan anymore but very nice!

Uber Eats kindly delivered us a Tinseltown dinner. Beef Inferno burger for me, bbq chicken burger for DD, honey wings, two Oreo cookie waffles and two Ambassador milkshakes. We are stuffed!

We had chicken pie, potato and spinach. Substantial winter dinner delicious 😏

Mixed bean casserole and nice seeded sourdough with salad leaves. Plus beer/g&t seeing as it’s Friday!
