I'm making garlic chicken & leek potato bake from a recipe I found on Pinterest. Serving with green beans, and a Wine for me, because I couldn't decide whether it needed something else alongside it.

What's cooking at yours?

Oven pizza; can’t wait to relax on the sofa with it after a hectic Christmas

MyGirlDaisy · 03/01/2020 19:12

It was supposed to be jacket potato with bean chilli, but turned into jacket potato with a truckload of butter and loads of cheese, six different types.
I love cheese.

Grapefruity · 03/01/2020 19:13

Salmon and dill traybake from the Slimming World website. First recipe I've tried. Looks good, lets hope it tastes good. I will know in 6 minutes.

Pilot12 · 03/01/2020 19:31

Salmon fillet, green beans and homemade potato wedges.

SteveHarringtonsHair · 03/01/2020 19:32

I’ve had a curry ready meal. DC are with ex and I’ve been at work all day. It was ok.

Could you share the recipe please @lucysmam that sounds right up mine and DS’s alley Smile

JellyfishandShells · 03/01/2020 19:32

D made rib eye steak, served sliced, with steamed cabbage and grilled tomatoes. Perfection.

MyNameIsJane · 03/01/2020 19:33

I’m doing a chicken, lemon & thyme bake

Impatientwino · 03/01/2020 19:39

Meatballs in a smoky paprika spicy tomato sauce with mushrooms, peppers and spinach. Brown rice and some grated cheese on the side (classy!)

Large blood orange gin already gone down very nicely and DH has opened a nice Rioja we've been saving.

We're not doing completely dry January as life a bit too stressful here for total abstinence but only one day a week allowed and that day is today SmileWine

I love these threads as they always give me meal ideas to add to my list!

Ottolenghi's pork and porcini lasagne but not in a lasagne - just a ragu with some nice mafalada pasta....

RhinestoneCowgirl · 03/01/2020 19:42

Friday night is always curry night here. DH is making a chicken curry, plus there's a kidney bean one from the freezer for veggie DD.

Can hear the thump of the rolling pin from the kitchen as he makes chapatti...

Icanflyhigh · 03/01/2020 19:45

Grapefruity it's just chicken, passata, spinach and broccoli with a tub of saag spice pot (Sharwoods I think).
It was amazing!!

lifeisgoodmostofthetime · 03/01/2020 19:48

Quorn Madras, brown rice, pitta and salad. Delicious 😋

GlamGiraffe · 03/01/2020 19:52

Courgette and king prawn spaghetti with chia seeds.
It's a favourite here.

MysweetAudrina · 03/01/2020 20:00

Striploin steak, chips ( in my new air fryer), eggs and maybe beans

lucysmam · 03/01/2020 20:07

@SteveHarringtonsHair hopefully this works it went down very well with dd1. Spuds need to be par-boiled for more than the 2 mins it stays though, and probably higher than the middle of the oven. We enjoyed it though :)

I've cooked something that I know DD would eat as she's had another massive meltdown and was crying for ages before tea. So we've had scampi, spicy chips and green beans.

UsernameTaken76 · 03/01/2020 20:10

SteveHarringtonsHair · 03/01/2020 20:19
