My teen declared themself to be "absolutely wankered" before pouring themself into bed after actually not very many a few beers tonight

Pissed or smashed would have been the term when I was their age

What are yours Grin

I was scuttered drunk when I met this clown who was stocious - he was gee-eyed. He was pure balubas - no word of a lie.

ALongHardWinter · 01/01/2020 17:51

3 sheets to the wind.

cookiemonster5 · 01/01/2020 17:54

Slightly drunk - half cut/canned
Blood more alcohol than actual blood - fully cut/canned

Also use blotto, bleezin', shit faced, wankered.

For someone on drugs we use the term oot of their tree or off their face which some use for being drunk.

TyneTeas · 01/01/2020 18:35

Haven't heard "being off your face" for years! Grin

I usually say pissed. I then get confused when posters write pissed when they mean pissed off. Grin
