She was wearing a crochet top with no bra underneath

Just curious as to what other people would make of this? I was in Jamaica recently, and one night at the bar (in a family hotel), a woman of about 35/40 years old, was wearing a crochet top, with quite large holes in it, with no bra underneath. Breasts and nipples clearly on show. At some points she as chatting with groups of local men, at another point she plonked herself down at the table with me, my DH and some other people. No idea who she was actually with. Is it me, or is this really inappropriate?

It's inappropriate but maybe she has a psychiatric condition that makes her uninhibited?

The OP made the comment about the size of her own breasts as PPs were inferring she was jealous. Which clearly she is not. Who wants their kids thinking that's normal?

The woman has a screw loose - nowt to be jealous about there .

It not exactly normal dress, but who knows what’s going on in head, or life to pass comment on her.
Why are you posting op, are you considering buying a similar top, or are you wanting us to speculate why she was dressed that way.

Yes, I can see what you mean. In my first marriage, my DH was a serial cheat and I had really small boobs. In my current marriage, my DH is just lovely and I sorted out my "ahem" boob issue with a very good boob job, so I have no boob envy at all. But oh, 15 years ago, I would have felt dreadfully inadequate and my ex would have been eyeing her tits and dribbling. Ha ha.

Depends on the boobs really. I think women with small breasts can get away with this more than women with big boobs can.
With small boobs it might have been quite chic in a kind of hippy bohemian way. With big boobs it would have looked a bit page 3.

I think probably men like a whole range of boobs just like they always have.

If she wants to embarrass herself that's her problem, I wouldn't give it another thought.

I do wear a tshirt but I honestly think Its obviously that's what she is comfortable with.

Are you sure you've dealt with the issues from your previous relationship op. I mean mentally, not just physically. Your recent update seems makes it more understandable as to why you've posted this in the first place.

I actually do have a crochet top (lingerie type bodysuit) that I've worn on a night out with a skirt.. yes.

Oh OP, this is really sad. You were so insecure with your body you had surgery to ‘fix’ it and now can’t deal with someone else not giving a fuck.

So when you had small tits you would have felt inadequate, but now you have bigger tits, you suddenly find her showing her nips inappropriate. That sounds like you have more booby issues than her tbh.

I kid you not, I went to a teaching interview with someone wearing one of these, no bra, very voluptuous. She beat 7 candidates. I still marvel at the memory years later

Some posters are being ridiculous. Of course it's bizarre wearing a crochet top with no bra. It shows a complete lack of awareness. It's a restaurant, not a beach.

I wouldn't be comfortable with my DH or DS walking around with no top. What other people do is up to them though.

I have no insecurities whatsoever, my boobs are fab! But I do find this very odd behaviour. Defo dressed up for the night, and had not just come from the pool or beach.
