Snip snip mrburgess
Gf..I did this years ago..so no not really..it’s been maintaining it that’s been tough
This July I was so ill. Bloated tum, barely slept, Pains in back. Cousin on her way up for Wales for a week. Love her to bits but just wanted to curl up under the duvet and cry. I didn’t eat for 30 hours and felt much better the next day.
I then gave up dairy and gluten completely and very strictly. I’d had an ordinary scotch egg at the weekend. Was just so Ill.
I now see a medical Dowser who confirmed my intoLerances to these foods.
It’s taken nearly 6 months of treatment to get my life a bit more stable but her reckons once the intolerance is there you can’t ever go back to these foods...the body will work harder and faster to expel them. That’s his take on it. He’s been 29 years without them.
Me and dh ( he’s in the same boat as well) have learned to cook using different ingredients. I’m now back to making cakes again.
I have 6 dessertspoons of my home made gf oat muesli. Everything is in that. Walnuts, Brazil’s, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, poppy seeds. Dried raisins, sultanas, banana slices, coconut slices, papaya, goji berries, dried pineapple, chopped dates..anything but prunes and figs really.
Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day and I look forward to all of that goodness and in case I’m not digesting it properly on account of any residual ibs..I make sure I chew it thouroughly.
I have a glass of hot lemon and water to kick start the liver..it’s also good if you’ve over indulged and helps to alkalise the body
I Finnish breakfast with a gel cap of concentrace ( that’s got all your electrolytes in) and some coral calcium from the Caribbean not Japan.
You don’t want to glow in the dark.
Now I’ve got my magnesium levels up I’m no longer craving chocolate. I go days without eating any at all.
Lunch is something light, hummus on lentil crackers, banana on rice cake, then evening meal is protein, veg and a carb like rice, buckwheat, quinoa,
I’m not counting calories any more.
Since changing my breakfast my elimination is so much better. I have had herbal treatments etc from the medical Dowser..so this could be attributed to those as well...yes I’m a bit chubby but I’m much healthier than I’ve been for years
I’m going to do another parasite cleanse in the new year...I do this about every 3-4 months. That’s very important
