Mine will be ready at 5pm, I'm starving!

What time do you usually have yours?

Whenever it's ready, started cooking about an hour ago. I recon it'll be done in 3/4 hrs time.

DramaAlpaca · 25/12/2019 16:18

Usually around 5, but it'll be late this year as we are waiting until DS1 gets home from work.

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 25/12/2019 16:19

Ours will be ready at 6pm....that's the plan anyway. Had lunch so not too hungry.

honeyloops · 25/12/2019 16:19

Ours will be about 5 for the main course - we just had soup and rolls as a starter because we were starving haha!

RudolphIsMySpiritAnimal · 25/12/2019 16:19

When it's cooked, I'm rubbish at sticking to a schedule!

This year I was aiming for 1pm, finally served up at 3pm...

Pipandmum · 25/12/2019 16:19

5ish. Not even started cooking it yet as abroad and just finished breakfast.

FrenchyQ · 25/12/2019 16:19

We had ours at 2pm

Orangesox · 25/12/2019 16:19

About 2.30ish, we don’t tend to cook to a time as such, we just start preparing when we’re ready.

BlackLambAndGreyFalcon · 25/12/2019 16:20

2pm.

Ninkanink · 25/12/2019 16:23

Half two.

We usually have it around four or five pm but today it’s just the two of us and we decided to have it earlier in the day to allow for more nibbles later.

PineappleDanish · 25/12/2019 16:24

6pm. We always have eaten later in the day, all of my family have always eaten late afternoon / early evening rather than lunchtime.

This idea of everyone sitting stuffed full of turkey and watching the Queen is very weird to me.

GreekOddess · 25/12/2019 16:25

About 3.30 pm. I'm having a break between courses 🐷

trinity0097 · 25/12/2019 16:25

1pm, lunch time

Thesearmsofmine · 25/12/2019 16:25

Starters we about half2 then main at 3ish. It wasn’t a set time just when it was all ready.

ToEarlyForDecorations · 25/12/2019 16:26

1.30pm, lunch time but slightly later than normal to allow for drinking champagne.

eryn6556 · 25/12/2019 16:26

We had ours at 2pm

wendz86 · 25/12/2019 16:26

Around 1.30 .

dementedpixie · 25/12/2019 16:27

Ours is cooking just now

PrincessMargaret · 25/12/2019 16:27

Still cooking mine. Will be ready in about 20 mins I hope.

inchoccyheaven · 25/12/2019 16:27

We ate at 1pm and now on the chocs while watching tv.

umberellaonesie · 25/12/2019 16:28

1800 it's when we normally have dinner.
We have a brunch in the morning after opening present and have been grazing on heroes and quality street all day.

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 25/12/2019 16:28

1pm the we have cold cuts, pork pie etc for tea about 6ish.

Flymetothetoon · 25/12/2019 16:28

I started cooking at 10 am and we sat down and ate at 3.20 pm. Just have all the washing up now as the rest of them chill in the lounge. Xmas day gotta love it 🥴

delilahbucket · 25/12/2019 16:30

Currently semi comatose after ours 😴. Did manage to get the dishwasher on (for the third time today) before I sat down though.

JockTamsonsBairns · 25/12/2019 16:31

We aimed for roughly 2.30, but it was nearer 3 by the time I served up the starter. Had main about 3.30, and we'll have a break now until having our dessert around 6ish.
We're late eaters normally, so my body isn't used to being this full so early on in the day. I just like to get Xmas dinner done and out the way so I can relax.
