Mine will be ready at 5pm, I'm starving!

What time do you usually have yours?

Half way through a bottle of gin with my DD's so we are all finding Jeremy clarkson funny for once unlike my teetotal dm

adaline · 25/12/2019 17:09

We ate at half one. No breakfast and a long walk with the dog meant we were both starving!

Difficultcustomer · 25/12/2019 17:09

We have a late breakfast about 11.30, the evening meal which will mean actually eating about 8pm. Stems from having family friends who used to have Christmas lunch with relatives then come here.

BacktoMA · 25/12/2019 17:11

1pm lunch (quite late for us actually I normally do closer to 12)

Turkey rolls for dinner!

marshmallowkittycat · 25/12/2019 17:12

We had ours at 1pm. Have small kids who were up early and a small turkey roast so no need to eat late. Kids will have a sandwich or toast before bed and Dh and I will have nibbles later.

roisinagusniamh · 25/12/2019 17:16

Still waiting for ours...DH is prepping the goose now.
We've spent the day out going from neighbour to neighbour.

DrivingMsCrazy · 25/12/2019 17:20

Main meal 2pm. Had chocs etc during the afternoon and will be having leftovers and snacks plus dessert if anyone fancies it around 7-8pm.

wheresmyhairytoe · 25/12/2019 17:24

1pm here, all washed up, put away and nap had. Will have tea about 6ish.

sanityisamyth · 25/12/2019 17:31

Booked table for 1.30. Was perfect. Light breakfast and then no need to eat for the rest of the day!!

KatherineJaneway · 25/12/2019 17:33

Just after 1pm. Couldn't wait until too much later!

GoGoLego · 25/12/2019 17:41

Due to eat at half 6. Not eaten a meal since breakfast just nibbles. I'm almost too starving, my digestive system likes little often. I've worked out I've consumed more calories from alcohol than actual food

Namethecat · 25/12/2019 17:41

Just had ours, too full for Christmas pud so will have that later this evening.

Bubblysqueak · 25/12/2019 17:42

The cooking and the eating! Crown Grin

LizziesTwin · 25/12/2019 17:44

2:30 - late enough to have breakfast, go for a run, drink champagne & then eat. Pudding after presents. Party food for dinner tonight.

Crunchymum · 25/12/2019 17:48

Dished up at 5pm. As planned (usually I overrun a bit!!)

No one can manage dessert yet so we'll reconvene at the table in a bit.

UncleHerbie · 25/12/2019 17:51

1900 as we had brunch at 1230. We went for a four mile walk, got back at 1630, started dinner (a big fat chicken with all the trimmings as we dislike turkey). Can't wait 😊

Portulaca · 25/12/2019 17:54

Just had ours. No one fancied it at lunchtime 😀

damnthatanxiety · 25/12/2019 17:58

Is there a regional preference for when to eat? We are fine south bc sand eat around 2:00. Simple small breakfast. Massive late lunch and then pick at the remains in the evening.

VeryMerryChristmas · 25/12/2019 17:58

Had ours on Christmas Eve at 6pm.

Today we had a big breakfast with bubble & squeak, leftover ham, eggs etc at 10.30am.

Christmas leftover sandwiches at about 3pm.

Just cracked out the cheeseboard now Grin.

megletthesecond · 25/12/2019 18:00

2pm.

thismeansnothing · 25/12/2019 18:04

Whenever it's ready. Which today was about 2:30

dementedma · 25/12/2019 18:07

3pm. For the first year, the 3 dcs cooked and served up. How relaxing for me! The flip side was the adults did the dishes...

PlugUgly1980 · 25/12/2019 18:10

12:00...but we'd had breakfast by 6:00 after Santa had been! Kids aged 4 and 5 couldn't wait any longer! Just having a snack for tea now! Then they'll be in bed before 8 and we can chill!

festivefrustration · 25/12/2019 18:11

Longdistance · 25/12/2019 18:16

It was ready for 2.30pm. I originally said 2pm to everyone, but that meant no one was late.

Christmas pudding was at 5.30pm as we were stuffed.
