FloraGreysteel · 23/12/2019 00:03

Laugh at poo and fart jokes.

LaudableLaura · 23/12/2019 00:07

Laugh at toilet humour
Read the Famous Five
Stamp my foot if I'm not getting my own way with my husband
Drink strawberry nesquik

frankie001 · 23/12/2019 00:07

I have a bedside lamp in a 3D shape of a T. rex.

GoldLeafTree · 23/12/2019 00:24

I still sleep with my teddy, I jump in puddles and run through leaves, I run up my stairs/to and from the toilet at night to avoid the monster and sometimes stamp my foot/sulk if I don't get my own way with DP (
which makes me sound horrible)

TooLaidBack27 · 23/12/2019 01:32

Pulling faces while I am in a lift. Started doing this while going out with my now-ex-DH, who had this habit since childhood. Have been divorced for 15 years now, but the annoying habit still there.

AmurderIsAnnounced · 23/12/2019 01:40

Play 'Boggies' in shops
Do big skids with the shopping trolley down empty aisles
Race my dcs to the swings
Laugh at toilet humour
Stick my tongue out to wankers I encounter when they're not looking
Play hide and seek with the dcs
Play murder in the dark with the dcs

You will all never quite know how happy I am to find out that other people still sleep with their childhood teddies! I look forward to bed time so I can see him! I am a mum of 3 older children!

Lofari · 23/12/2019 02:09

Farts will never not be funny. There was a hilarious thread on here the other day about them that had me crying with laughter......whilst sat in the hairdressers. Mid 30s and not very mature!

Clevererthanyou · 23/12/2019 02:09

This is pretty bad but when I text my husband and sometimes even when we speak face to face, we converse like Lolcats from I Can Has Cheeseburger. E.g, “Phil, did yew leaf da heatings on?” Phil: “No mai nebber ebber do that. Was the goggies 😋”.

I did say it was bad but it leaves me in tears of mirth.

SexlessBoulderBelly · 23/12/2019 02:13

When no one is looking I like to run up the stairs on all fours.

I’ve been caught by my younger sister before, I don’t tend to look up while I do it so when I reached the top step (still on all fours with my arse in the air) I saw a pair of feet and heard “sexless...?” Looked up to see her about to break into hysterics that her mid twenties sister climbs the stairs like a monkey.

My DP is still get to catch me doing it now we’ve moved out, but I air in the side of caution now.

Pinkarsedfly · 23/12/2019 03:14

YY to surreptitious V-flicking, running upstairs on all fours and elaborate chocolate-biscuit eating.

I read children’s books if I’m feeling sad or stressed.
Make up silly/rude lyrics when singing to the radio.
Stick my tongue out at DH/Dses/Ddogs when losing an argument.
Flick water at DP when washing up, or pull his pants down when he has his hands in water.
Laugh at farts.
Try to be the first to see the sea when we drive to the coast and get all excited when I see it.
Kick leaves, jump in puddles and leave footprints in virgin snow.
Write my and DH’s initials in the sand.
Point out farm animals excitedly.
Collect conkers.

I’m sure there are lots more.

GemmeFatale · 23/12/2019 03:23

Stroking/patting my hair when I’m tired, stressed or can’t sleep.

wizzywig · 23/12/2019 04:02

I have found my people

kemosabeimalive · 23/12/2019 04:06

When I’m listening to music I love o imagine I’m at Wembley performing to an audience of thousands. I do it a lot when I run and have been known to do some mad air guitar as I’m jogging along! I must look utterly deranged but my fantasy pop star life has helped me through a lot of tough time’s and can give me an enormous rush if I really get into it!!Grin

kemosabeimalive · 23/12/2019 04:08

Adding: I don’t know if this is more ‘childish’ or ‘Alan Partridge!’

anxioussue · 23/12/2019 04:15

I talk to my duvet when I get in bed at night.

eaglejulesk · 23/12/2019 04:37

Kick my way through leaves
count the sleeps to birthdays and Christmas
open one Christmas present at midnight on Christmas Eve - because it's Christmas!
talk to animals and birds
eat snow
make up silly songs and sing them to my cats

Nextphonewontbesamsung · 23/12/2019 04:46

Occasionally I'll send my husband a text (usually asking him to do some sort of dull home admin type job) and sign myself off something like this: "thank you, Mrs Belinda Isobel Gertrude Annabel Rose Susan Edwards. And he will reply "ok, will get right to it, Mr Brian Eric Leonard Lawrence End". It can go on for hours and amuses us both far too much.

mrssillysausage · 23/12/2019 05:04

I think I'm the only person who still watches you've been framed and proper bey laughs at it lol x

WakeyShakey · 23/12/2019 05:12

Running down the stairs and jumping off over the last 3 steps.
Holding the bread bag with one hand and spinning it with the other while going ' weeee' then putting the bag clip on.
When drinking through a straw, making a loud slurp when the drink reaches the bottom.
Blowing bubbles in a drink via the straw.
I promise I'm a grown up, honest.

Southmouth · 23/12/2019 05:20

I love watching children’s tv!

I have a sweet obsession and eat loads, I also love babybel and cheese strings and other child like foods.

When my OH annoys me I stick my finger up behind his head without him knowing and it makes me feel so much better Blush Grin

I like going on the swings in the park when no one is there and seeing I high I can go. I also brought a huge trampoline for the garden and blamed it on my children really wanting one but secretly it was for me..

Southmouth · 23/12/2019 05:23

Also I hide from my OH in the house all the time and jump out on him when he’s least expecting it, I love doing it at night time and turning all the lights off everywhere to make him jump even more Grin

BikeRunSki · 23/12/2019 05:23

If I’m the only person at work, i like to run down the corridor and watch the “intelligent”lights cone on behind me.

toria658 · 23/12/2019 05:42

I really enjoy childrens’ films ( H thinks the Disney channel subscription was due to our mutual love of Star Wars -bless), I love sweeties especially sherbert and hide my stash, I still inhale the smell inside the box of Quality Streets at Christmas, and I still get vaguely excited re twinkly lights, if unobserved I suck the chocolate off a KitKat finger and eat the wafer separately, ... I have a responsible job and a few grey hairs, but at heart am really 8 :).

WakeyShakey · 23/12/2019 05:55

Also, if my husband is sat at the side of me and yawns, I can't resist sticking my finger in his mouth.
