Where have vegetarian hotdogs gone?

Has anyone else noticed that they are not on sale anywhere?
Quorn, IKEA and supermarket own brands have completely disappeared off shelves.
Now I can only find vegetable versions but not the orignal soya versions.

Tival ones or quorn maybe?

I saw them, but they are v.expensive and I was thinking about the ones in the frozen section that have disappeared.

I don't suppose there was much call for them.

Taifun tofu dogs are still on sale at Ocado. They have stopped stocking a couple of Fry’s products I really liked though.

I have noticed this and I am sad about it. Ds and I loved them!

I noticed this about 3 or 4 years ago. Although I'm not a vegetarian,I'm not keen on pork hot dogs. I used to buy lovely vegetarian ones from Sainsbury's and Tesco's. I think Iceland also used to do their own brand,but these disappeared a long time ago,probably around late 90s. I haven't been able to find a suitable alternative since,so am watching this thread with interest.

Our Tesco and ASDA have stopped doing their own brand ones, but still have quorn which are more expensive and not as nice. Gutted.

We used to get sainsbury's ones and I miss them! So quick to heat.

We have just eaten the Richmond Vegetarian ones and they were pretty good. Fairly similar to the seasoned pink mush normal richmonds which we pretended not to like in front of others

The Quorn sausage patties have also disappeared and we buy loads of those. I use them with a potato waffle to make a fake McDonald's breakfast wrap.

I'm hoping they're too busy making vegetarian pigs in blankets and they'll reappear after Christmas.

Also the own brand frozen fake bacon, it's doing my nut.
The quorn stuff tastes like play dough.

Tesco vegetarian bacon not been available for weeks.

Have the Sainsbo's ones disappeared? I love those!

Tesco used to do great frozen Lincolnshire veggie sausages and frozen hot dogs. Haven’t seen them in months :(

They were still in our Tesco last time I looked - however this is a kosher brand (tivoli or something?) in the kosher section.

Sainsburys own sausages disappeared. The the veggie red pepper and butternut ones from M&S. Ocado were out of stock on Linda M ones. So I’m not having any for Christmas at all!

So pissed off, the Tesco frozen veg hotdogs were brilliant.
I've checked our not so local big Tesco and they're not there.
In our small supermarket I expect sometimes things aren't in stock as seasonal/hotdogs more summer.
But I've not seen the Quorn ones for ages either.
I might write to Tesco!!

I was really sad when I last went to IKEA. I always have a Quorn hotdog on the way out and they've changed them to some horrible vegetable mush 😩

I got some Quorn ones from Ocado the other day.

I emailed quorn about this around bonfire night and they said they still made them. I've seen them in asda, I rang round a few local Asda's and stocked up on them. Couldnt find any quorn bacon today though!

Sainsbury's ones disappear every winter IME. They have veggie sausage rolls in their place, so I assume Sainsbury's think hotdogs are a summer thing, sausage rolls a winter thing.
Very annoying though.
