What are you doing for your holiday next year?

For the first time in years I have nothing booked.

We’re moving house at the end of Jan so I wanted to save cash for that. It would be nice however to have some clue about what we want to do!

DH wants a lodge in the highlands which sounds lovely but is weather dependent. One kid wants to go to Centreparcs in Belgium and the other wants to go to Tokyo Hmm

We have had lots of different types of holiday from eurocamp to all inclusive but nothing is really exciting me this year. I can’t stand the thought of doing nothing though.

Inspire me, what are you doing?

Nothing planned yet, but I’d like to introduce DD to camping, so the plan is to gather kit (we’ve got most of it) ready to head off for weekends, when the weather looks kind.

VenusClapTrap the Hunting High and Low tour? I saw it recently, it’s brilliant! And Norway is beautiful.

I’m also fancying Cuba now bit the financial truth is it’s probably going to be a Eurocamp!

Meganchips yes, the Hunting High & Low tour. I already went to two uk dates Blush. Love ‘em.

AgeLikeWine · 18/12/2019 22:28

Bavaria in March, Sicily in June and tbc in September / October. Maybe a road trip to Seattle & the Pacific North West. Possibly Yellowstone? It’s election year, though, so autumn may not be the best time to go to the US. I’ve had more than enough of politics for now.

Some good ideas on here. Slovenia and Annecy sound wonderful. And Dalyan.

Nothing planned here, although last summer we rented a house on Moosehead Lake in Maine and it was the most heavenly trip, so maybe do that again.

Same as we did last year, year before and years before that
Three winter holidays in Tenerife. Just got back last night about midnight and I’m now ready to go back.
Washing is washed and dried..won’t take too long to pack..
Shame I’m not going till March ☹️
Will also have one or two trips to dorset and Cardiff as usual to see friends and relatives

Dowser · 19/12/2019 09:54

Cuba is amazing..15 years since I was in Havana
I wonder if much has changed
Don’t like the flying.
Even Tenerife and back gives me the collywobbles when it gets bumpy.

Chanel05 · 19/12/2019 09:58

We got to America at least once, if not twice a year. We did Florida and NYC this year again so will go back to the west. Haven't decided where yet but it will most likely be April and or August time.

timeforawine · 19/12/2019 10:00

Tobago in spring, New Zealand and Fiji next winter, Balerics probably in August.

AShaveAndAHarecutHalfPrice · 19/12/2019 10:13

Eurocamp near Barcelona for me

timeforawine · 19/12/2019 10:44

We had had Cuba booked for April but was with Thomas Cook so that fell through as i couldn't find another travel agent that covered where we were going (Cayo Coco) :-(

shinynewapplesonachristmastree · 19/12/2019 10:53

Long weekend in Alicante after Christmas.

Nothing booked for next year yet - normally do a week somewhere in Europe- Mediterranean; and a week in UK on the coast some where, plus a couple more UK weekend breaks.

annonymousse · 19/12/2019 10:58

A couple of short breaks in Scotland and the lakes, a long weekend in Amsterdam and zimbabwe in sept/Oct. I'm very excited
