Celebrities you can’t warm to

Does anyone have any celebrities they can’t really ‘warm to’ or don’t get great vibes about for no reason at all, even though they are generally very well-liked?

Mine is Justin/Mr Tumbke, I know everyone loves him but I just get these vibes that he’s actually a total diva and the tv/stage persona is just that. But then I’m probably totally wrong.

I’m on a proper roll now. I couldn’t watch Strictly this year because of all the cloying, fake sincerity. Just do the fecking dance, get your scores and sod off. I don’t want to hear about how you made a friend for life in your professional partner and (s)he taught you so much, saw something special in you blah blah.

The facial expressions have reached peak fakery too. Especially the one who danced with Tony Beak. She had obviously been practising “eyes and teeth, eyes and teeth, sparkle! Sparkle!”

Micheal Barrymore makes me want to punch my own lights out.

The game show they host has the potential to be a big hit if they were not hosting it! They are so wooden, unnatural and fake it’s difficult to watch! And she’s always looking at the camera when she’s meant to be talking to the contestants - very odd.

@Elderflower14 I think Jo Wood only exists to fill space in Sunday supplements. She’s usually got something to flog (don’t they all?) and disappointingly we never get the real dirt on Ronnie Wood.

I have noticed that she has slipped down the rankings and is now more likely to be found in my dad’s Saturday Express TV guide (as filler) than in his MOS ‘You’ magazine, though, so maybe she will tell all in ‘Platinum’ magazine in exchange for the cover and a chance to promote her organic hair oil or yoga mats or whatever she has to shill this week.

@jamesforagirl I haven’t been able to assess the hit potential of their show because as soon as I see them I am reaching for the remote.

Aidan Turner- again, back when he was doing a promo for being human he came across as extremely arrogant. Although he now often says he dislikes that Tv show and didn’t get how everyone sympathised with his character (he played a serial killer). But from what I have heard he is really obnoxious and incredibly rude and apparently was a nightmare on the set of poldark.
Any ITV star (excluding Ant and Dec)- All come across fake, particularly Philip!
A vast majority of pop stars- yet to find one that I can warm to.
Most Reality Stars/Influences- they are middle class, self obsessed people, who where clearly school bullies as most popular kids are, who pretend they are just like you. They are not!
There are probably many others, but these are who come to the top of my head.

But...I do like Tom cruise as an actor I am BEYOND excited that “rock of ages” is now on Netflix great film very funny and shockingly he can actually sing! Not astoundingly so but he can carry a tune. But yes in real life he’s a dick! And even as a fan I have suspicions about certain aspects of his life much gossiped about and if I wrote would be deleted but I suspect they are true, the shame of it being if it is true means he’s living a lie and I think unnecessarily.

I’m a fan and have followed him for years and I promise you he does stuff like this all the time, and doesn’t always do a big show of it - he generally does that if it’s something the fan wants - not just when he’s got something to promote. He’s always lovely to fans, spends ages signing autographs and getting selfies etc remembers fans he’s met before even years after, asks after their families and all sorts really lovely guy.

She seems to be constantly falling out with people.
She told Kanye he could use something in a song.But when the song came out she acted affronted.And she said she hadnt given permission.And Kim played the whole tape.

I just think you are the problem,not everyone around you if trouble always seems to be at your door.

That might be one side of the story. I remember reading Taylor’s side and it was different. For a start Kim Kardashian didn’t play the whole tape, she played a heavily edited version. Taylor Swift took exception to being called a bitch on the song, the edited version of the taped conversation didn’t show her approving being called a bitch and Taylor Swift said that’s because that conversation never happened. Kanye said he’d play the song to her before it was released and Taylor Swift said that never happened. Who knows, but I know who I believe. People who seem to have reputations for being nice and good to work with seem to say Taylor Swift is lovely. I’d believe them over Kanye and Kim as I think they seek out attention. Kanye interrupting her award speech years ago was just embarrassing to watch, for him. But it got him attention so that’s a win in his world I suppose.
