Property porn: nice property within 5 miles of you for less than £1million

I found this beauty. A combination of gorgeous original features with a few modern touches. Light and airy. Beautiful grounds. Close to motorway networks to Glasgow/Edinburgh/Stirling. Eight bedrooms probably too much for me but I guess I could have some more children... Hmm.

See, i look at all of those converted barns with their mezzanines and just think "but the heating bill". I visited some friends who live in one and shivered all night, despite underfloor heating and a raging log fire

@Lexplorer I think looking at the arrivals and departure maps Stansted public (because I am a nerd at heart...) they might get off quite lucky and fall outside of any of the main routes used - you must still hear some
Though being that close!

There are only 3 between 900k and 1M within 5 miles of us.
I dont fancy any of them. One gas agricultural o occupancy restrictions on it, one includes i's own pub, and the final one has amazing views, but is a mass of glass sliding doors and no privacy.

Oh yes Ammonia that one is seriously gorgeous!

I grew up in Bronte country so those type of houses remind me of home. I live a long, long way from there now. I miss the moors.

Hmm yes, Pick, it is very...brown. However it has stables and that would be a big plus if you had horses (brown ones, of course Wink.
