Yes! Ours went up today (a real one) and it's always still thick and bushy on new year's day when we take it down. Merry Christmas 🎄

Yes it's up. Bought one from a Christmas tree farm last year for £70 but this one is £17.99 from Lidl's

Probably tomorrow 🎄

Depending on if I can be bothered to go and buy one.

Got ours today and will decorate it tomorrow. Got visitors coming on Monday then we're away for 5 days over next weekend so it's more about logistics, but I normally get it beginning of dec so not so much earlier....

WheresMyChocolate · 30/11/2019 19:20

I've just put mine up. I expect it'll be back down shortly if the expression on the cat's face is anything to go by.

loserssaywhat · 30/11/2019 19:48

Nope mine goes up after the 10th of December and comes down shortly after new year. I don't shop until the start of December either. I just feel Christmas just goes on and on and it loses some of its magic because it drags if I put the tree up too early.

PussInBin20 · 30/11/2019 20:54

Yes, did it all today! We have an artificial one (that we got from Woolworths years ago and still going strong). I normally do it first weekend in Dec - only since having Dd though.

Dowser · 30/11/2019 21:03

Monday ..as we are going abroad for two weeks

Frownette · 30/11/2019 21:19

Housemate is very bah humbug about Xmas so no tree, he's not stopping me having fairy lights however

moonbells · 30/11/2019 21:41

Yes, because in the past I've either had no weekends to do it or when we've chosen a date, it rains and we can't put anything up. So now if it's after mid-Nov and dry, at least the lights get put up. Don't have to switch them on until December.

Our trees are stay-outside potted ones though, which is why it needs to be dry! Both are far too big to haul indoors any more - I only put LEDs up inside now.
