Was wondering whether the leaders debates, political news or social media have made anyone change their mind about who to vote for? Also, any predictions about the outcome at this point?

Anyone stupid enough to believe anything BoJo says deserves everything they are going to get. What a shame they will drag the rest of the country to hell too.

Davespecifico · 21/11/2019 23:11

Labour.

Well, my big prediction about this election (from at least a year ago) is that it would be all about voter suppression.

If you know people won't vote for you, get them not to vote at all.

Best way is to identify "groups" who typically vote for your opponent, and find a kryptonite for each of those groups.

How would you say that prediction's going, everyone?

Tiredemma · 21/11/2019 23:36

Labour

SilverySurfer · 22/11/2019 00:55

100% Conservatives, the other parties are risible.

user1471448556 · 22/11/2019 01:09

Was going to vote Lib Dem until I saw the tactical voting advice for my constituency, so Labour it is. Brexit is a big issue for me and Johnson’s deal is a super Hard Brexit with a trap door to no deal at the end of 2020. There is no chance in hell I would vote for the Brexiter Tories. What happened to good old one nation, pro business Tories?

EmpressLesbianInChair · 22/11/2019 01:58

The LibDems have said they don’t want my vote, so they’re not getting it. Nor are the Greens.

I was going to spoil my ballot but now I’ve seen their manifesto I’m considering voting Labour.

FoamingAtTheUterus · 22/11/2019 02:05

A wise man once said so long as I have a hole in my arse I will never vote Tory........I'm siding with the wise man and shall vote labour as usual.

Bloodybridget · 22/11/2019 02:35

I'm in a safe Labour seat, I usually vote for them but am very anti JC, and seriously concerned about anti-Semitism in the party, and their stance on gender issues. But Lib Dems are also crap on gender, as are Greens, so I really don't know.

Mumek · 22/11/2019 10:56

Previously Conservative but voting Labour - great manifesto. Boris will certainly sell off the NHS.

gottagetbetter7 · 22/11/2019 11:02

I have not changed my mind as I was undecided and I am still not 100% decided. But if had to vote today would prob vote Green. More as protest vote as anything as no chance of being elected and to support stance of climate emergency as No. 1 priority for everyone. Can't vote Tory, Labour or Lib Dem which are the other options.

gottagetbetter7 · 22/11/2019 11:05

Prediction - small Tory majority.

Alsohuman · 22/11/2019 11:11

I was going to vote LibDem but it’s Labour all the way now. Given that they weigh the Tory votes in my neck of the woods, it won’t make any difference.

Fabledfronds · 22/11/2019 11:37

Not changed my mind.
The thought of Corbyn and particularly Macdonnell being in government terrifies me.

LochJessMonster · 22/11/2019 12:13

Tory.
Brexit not happening would set a dangerous precedent for future politics.

feelinghelplesstoday · 22/11/2019 12:15

Like a PP I too am in a Tory safe seat and feel very disenfranchised. I will likely vote Lib Dem. they have always been runner up and I hope (and pray) that enough previous Tory voters are reluctant to continue voting that way

SueDoeName · 25/11/2019 21:31

Listening to corbyn-!why is there such negativity? He seems like a nice bloke who wants an equal society.

AlrightMo · 25/11/2019 22:09

For the first time ever I am going to spoil my ballot.

It’s taken a lot of soul searching to come to this conclusion but I’m sick to the back teeth of Brexit and all that has come along with it.

We are very safe in a labour seat here and they would have had my vote, but I have no confidence in any of the parties at the moment.

I usually sway between labour and Lib Dem.

Funny to say who I vote for, I come from a family where it is not discussed and seem to have carried on that tradition with DH Confused
