I haven’t watched the interview, but heard reports of the content. I just find it unbelievable he claims he can’t remember meeting a woman he had his arm around! Despicable. Does anyone believe him?

Don't forget the fact the photo was him in his travelling clothes as he only goes out in London in his suit and tie.
And he doesn't know where the bar is in Tramps nightclub therefore he never bought Andrews a drink. Cos we all know Prince Andrew would go up to the bar himself, rather than his security doing it for him.
And the sweat thing, what a load of nonsense. He can remember he didn't sweat then, he can remember pizza express but he can't remember sex with a 17 Yr old blonde when he was in his 40s.

I almost had to close my mouth with my hand after the worst thing I've seen involving a royal - ever. His PR team are probably gibbering in a corner, clutching the gin and wondering what the hell to say to keep their jobs

And strange that nobody's mentioned his hesitation over his last contact with Ghislaine, even checking dates with Emily to avoid dropping himself in it

Overall he's been trapped into a hell of a lot of "wasn't there", "didn't know", "never did that", etc ... which will be no end useful to the press who've undoubtably got a hell of a lot more dirt on him

Oh, and is anyone else hoping Virginia Roberts has good security ... ?

I'm also quite amused that he thinks we're gullible enough that someone he hadn't seen since 2006 needed to be told, in person, in 2010, that their friendship was over.

Now I'm the most optimistic person in the world. I've got a couple of friends that I don't see for months on end and we pick up where we left off, but even I could take a hint after 4 years

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 16/11/2019 22:35

To me the biggesr faux pas was him not taking the opportunity to express regret for associating with a paedophile and sex trafficker. Emily gave him several opportunities to say 'of course, knowing what I know now I'd have had nothing to do with him.'

But at each opportunity, he expressed his association as a good thing.

oh yes google reviews!

JinglingHellsBells · 16/11/2019 22:37

Emily gave him several opportunities to say 'of course, knowing what I know now I'd have had nothing to do with him.'

He said that many times.

You weren't listening.

lyralalala · 16/11/2019 22:37

I do believe him that he went to Pizza Express in Woking, his disgust was quite genuine

ssd · 16/11/2019 22:37

Yes Virginia Roberts better have decent security puzzled, who was it who said, after Epsteins suicide "if you were surprised Epstein killed himself, imagine how surprised he must have been"

This process quote from an Irish Times journalist is priceless.

What’s most striking about this #PrinceAndrew interview is the complete lack of any hint of revulsion at the idea of middle aged men having sex with trafficked teenagers. He’s more repulsed by the idea that he was once in Pizza Express in Woking

awaynboilyurheid · 16/11/2019 22:39

No there’s a lot of posters who watched it and could see the BS have that as balance!

SunsetBoulevard3 · 16/11/2019 22:39

Pizza Hut in Woking will be doing good business for some time to come...

Priceless indeed.

The reviews showing for pizza express Woking are also a bit of a treat.

Haffiana · 16/11/2019 22:40

"Pizza Express" is going to be a famous euphemism from now on...

Pixxie7 · 16/11/2019 22:41

Totally think he is did sleep with her but not convinced she is completely innocent.

EleanorReally · 16/11/2019 22:42

she said she was Coerced

Happysummer2020 · 16/11/2019 22:43

No one is asking why these women once they were older, kept on 'working' Epstein and allowing themselves to work as prostitutes

Wow. Be careful there. You're in danger of sounding like a rapist defender. In the absence of any evidence or insider information consider your position.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 16/11/2019 22:43

I'm also quite amused that he thinks we're gullible enough that someone he hadn't seen since 2006 needed to be told, in person, in 2010, that their friendship was over

Now now, Lyra, do keep up ... he was an aquaintance, not a friend Wink

On the other hand, apparently Ghislaine is a friend - so it'll be interesting to hear what he says when the press dig up even more dirt on her

Mrsmadevans · 16/11/2019 22:46

It is her word against his and there is no evidence. No one can say he is guilty unless it has been proved beyond all reasonable doubt. All this supposition is just going nowhere.

LarkDescending · 16/11/2019 22:47

Someone on Twitter has suggested a new pizza for Pizza Express in Woking - the “Prince Andrew” with a thick crust and extra sausage Smile

NumbersStation · 16/11/2019 22:47

Indeed @Haffiana

Soon to be a legitimate defence in every court in the land.

It wisnae me, I was in pizza express.

W0rriedMum · 16/11/2019 22:47

The reviews of Pizza Express Woking! Clearly not a laughing matter but the internet is inventive tonight.

Redland12 · 16/11/2019 22:47

Made me cringe! He was like a rabbit caught in headlights, he was squirming! What a terrible liar. Arrogant little shit.

OverByYer · 16/11/2019 22:48

From FleetStreetFox on Twitter
Woking Pizza Express is now serving a “Prince Andrew”: very thick crust, extra sausage.
