Please hit me with your suggestions!
I loved The Road, I dont mind if it's old or new, just the more realistic the better

Clockwork Orange or Soylent Green

BeagleMomma · 15/11/2019 20:56

The divergent series is pretty good (on Amazon prime)

Hunger games obviously!

There's some really good ones on Netflix if you search dystopian

NorthEndGal · 15/11/2019 20:56

I have seen both of those, a long while ago though, and enjoyed both

SurpriseSparDay · 15/11/2019 21:04

Under the Skin

  • though it’s more sci-fi than dystopia. Horrifyingly ‘real’.
Dubbadubbadumdum · 15/11/2019 21:04

Snowpiercer

MiddleClassProblem · 15/11/2019 21:12

Book of Eli?

EmmiJay · 15/11/2019 21:16

GailLondon · 15/11/2019 21:26

+1 vote for snowpiercer

citybumpkin · 15/11/2019 21:26

Fahrenheit 451

NaviSprite · 15/11/2019 21:31

Logan’s Run
Idiocracy (if you fancy something a bit light hearted)
Elysium
Equilibrium (my favourite Christian Bale film)
Dredd
Battle Royale (Japanese film, I think Hunger Games took a fair few themes from this one)
Running Man
Bladerunner

NaviSprite · 15/11/2019 21:32

Oh and another +1 vote for Snowpiercer
Metropolis is pretty good but very old school sci-fi Smile

EstherLittle · 15/11/2019 21:33

Level 16 on Netflix. Dystopian with a side order of the Handmaid’s Tale.

katielilly · 15/11/2019 21:35

A quiet place

RoryGillmoresEvilTwin · 15/11/2019 21:38

What happened to Monday. It's on netflix

LittleSweet · 15/11/2019 21:38

I really enjoyed Level 16. Don't bother with the Maze Runner films. They aren't a good adaptation of the books, which are brilliant.
Warm Bodies, if zombies count as dystopian.
